Hey guys, so basically Ive had this sativa flowering for around 11 weeks now, which is the approx time it should be ripe. However, it seems like the buds keep extending shoots out with more pistils. I haven't given any nutes in about 2 weeks and most the leaves are starting to go yellow. What do you guys think?
note: most the buds furthest from the HPS 150w seem to be finishing up fine, but the biggest ones closest to the light are doing the extended shoots
I reduced the light time from 12/12 to about 10/14 dark and now its at about 9/15 and it hasnt really improved

yea perfect description, it seems the pistils wont turn brown but just keep sprouting more and more white/yellow

I believe it is called fox tailing. If the majority of the bud looks ripe, and its just the tops sprouting new pistils go ahead and chop.
