I was volunteering At the animal shelter by me and I fell in love with this big boy. I figure my grass city family would love to say hi. His family moved and left him in their backyard to die. But luckily he is now in my family. Oh his name is Casper.

Kudos to you. Rescue pits/pit mixes are basically all I seek when after a pit.
Show them what a real family is and their real true colors show. The kids here can run up, start beating me and within a second he's there "protecting" them lol. Little dogs at the park come up attacking and he doesn't know they aren't playing. Little hairless thing was trying to eat him last week, he laid down so it could reach his face/neck easier lol. Doesn't have it in him to hurt something smaller. Although, whatever he's mixed with won with height. I call him my deer/pit mix. Dead on a pit as a baby until he shot up and stands >6' on his back legs

I love pitbulls, but my girlfriend won't let me own one, she wants a small dog. :/ But your shared info has put a smile on my face.

Ya he is an absolute delight as soon as we got him we drove him straight to petsmart and let him pick out some toys and treats. Got him a beautiful harness and leash. He is pretty petite but the muscular build on him is insane. He is severely ripped. The thing that won us over with him is we walked into this open pen with tons of dogs socializing at the pound. He ran right to my daughter licked her on her entire face with one look and put his head under hers. I am not going to lie I cried. I sat there with a pouty lip till my husband agreed we could have him. After we had gotten him one of the workers came up and was so happy cause he was supposed to be put down tonight. Casper and I were ment to be. The whole family even my female dog love him. Here is a pic of both of them.
