Sexy new pipe

I'm on vacation in Peru and saw this baby in a little town in the countryside. Hand made stone pipe by one of those local native people from the mountains ( can't remember what they're called lol). Supposed to be a puma head or something idk but I love it. Almost don't want to use it, it would be a shame to get resin all in it. Edit: if anythings messed up in the post I'm using my phone. More pics Bowls not big around but pretty deep, decent enough size for me.

ha yeah, I got it today in a little rural town market right next to some old ruins.They still make a lot of their stuff by hand, inlcuding many different pipes. Can get their stuff dirt cheap too. How much anyone think something similar to this would have cost me in the U.S.?

I'm still in Peru so I haven't come across a that problem but I'm just gonna leave it wrapped up and in my main suitcase. I really doubt it'll be a problem. I imagine it would only be a problem if you tried bringing it on the plane on your person.

Shit... Now I'm really fucking paranoid. They won't stop me or confiscate an unused pipe if it's in my checked luggage will they? I'm definitely not bringing it on the plane with me. Reading online I think pipes are considered "drug paraphernalia" even if it could be used for tobacco... Will I be fine if it's in my checked luggage or do I have to let them know it's in there beforehand or what....

I know when my uncle flew from Mexico into DFW last month.Customs took his pipes. Which where unused. He had a wooden handmade one and a turtle glass one. The agent told him he should have mailed it back as he took them.

I suppose it could depend on the laws and regulations of the places you're traveling through... However, I really don't think you'll run into any problems. Being unused, wrapped, and packed into a bag you'll check, not carry on - should be enough to avoid drawing any unnecessary attention. The absolute worst I could see happening, is simply getting the pipe confiscated. You should be fine, and sittin' pretty.

/edit: As mentioned above, I suppose you could always save yourself the trouble by going ahead and mailing it back to yourself.

They where on his checked luggage.Might as well find a FedEx or UPS and mail them back. Badazz pipe for some Dick cbp agent to take them.

Fuuuuuck so much trouble for some dumb shit.... I never mailed anything from another country and I'm too lazy to do it now, especially here. If it was on the checked luggage if/when they confiscate it will they even bother stopping me at the airport or just take it and let me find out later. I'm with my dad and I'd rather not have him find out I smoke anything until AFTER my college education is done and paid for lol. If its too much much trouble I'll probably leave the pipe here along with my balls.

You go through U.S. style security when flying to the U.S. from any country. I don't think they would let you fly from the country otherwise. EDIT: Also looking up threads on the subject most of the time people get in trouble for glass smoking tools not much else... Sorry for do

ive taken a slightly used glass pipe from ca to ny and some bud so it really depends on where and how you hide it and btw the pipe was in my checked bag and my bud was on me.. heres an idea since its stone hopefully it wont set off a metal dectetor and you should be able to walk right through..

I bought a pipe in jamaica, unused. I put it in my checked bag, no problems. I just wrapped it up in a bag and a sock. I don't think they can take it. It's simply souvenir artwork
