Wondering if a 4x4x6.5 will work in my bedroom. I've got the space for it, just curious on venting it out my window (I've got an awning window so don't know if it works). Any problems/risks you guys know of?
I could just let the exhaust in the house as well, want some input on which would be best?
Cheers. :)

I ran 2 3x3 tents in my bedroom with over 1300 watts of LED and 6 CFL's exhausting into my bedroom. If you can port it outside, it would be better. I ended up getting a 10,000 btu AC unit which is more than enough.

Wow. That's a great idea! So if I understand this correctly you duct the exhaust of your grow tent to your air conditioner and another to your window or do you just let the exhaust run to your room and the air conditioner takes care of the rest? I have an awning/casement window though so I don't know how I could work with that :(

And yeah James it'll be good... :D

The tent just exhausts into the room and the AC unit handles the rest. I ran it through the summer last year with just a simple square window fan pushing air out.

Is cutting a hole into the wall an option?

Thanks for the idea, I'll be sure to pick one up, can you recommend a decently priced make? and the place is rented so I doubt it. Damn casement windows.
any other ideas that I could use for the a/c issue? I appreciate the help by the way.

If you're renting I would say FUCK YEAH CUT THE HOLE!!!!

All you need to do is:
Use circle saw to cut out hole
SAVE THE PIECE

When it's time to patch:
Put a small piece of wood into the hole and turn it so it's across the hole.
Put a nail through the dry wall into each side of the piece of wood holding it so that its supporting the back of the hole.
Put the piece you saved into the hole up against the wood and screw or nail it.
Add some puddy and no ones hurt!

If you can leave the window open you could cut a piece of plywood to fit the window frame, cut a vent hole in it and put a vent cover on the outside. Paint the board white or match your trim paint and most people wont be the wiser.

That piece of wood is put inside the wall. The wall is a stud between 2 pieces of drywall. Put the piece of wood in the wall an screw it from the side that faces u (The front). An when u put the part of the wall back in (The piece u cut out) u screw it to the wood
