Small grow op

I'm thinking about starting a small grow op in my room, i just want ilk one plant or something for my own personal use. i have a spot that would work and be concealed from my parents but i want to know what kind of lights would work for one plant, what soil/nutes, and how i would water it not on a timed watering setup. If you guys could help out with some tips for helping me get started or if there are any more tips that anyone might have they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all

Simple grow:

for lighting,
Get 42watt Compact flourecent light,
CFL kinda suck. So, get a lot; like 4 or 6.
If its a closet size area, Go big with High Pressure Sodium Lighting instead of CFL.
HPS light Yield more Buds. CFL, yield less, but more convinent in small area.

Depending on your budget you could try LED, it would help keep temps/power usage down...

But because we're in the Security section, hiding a grow from somebody you live with, especially parents, is not something I would recommend. Not only is it hard to do but if something goes wrong then you're not the only one in trouble.

Call it paranoia, but it has served me well so far.

That makes sense, the spot is on our property but in a place where my parents would never find it so i'm not too worried about that but maybe i should be more worried. But besides that i just want to know everything else that i am going to need to make this work because i know there are so many things i don't know about doing this. Also i think i can probably find another spot that would not have to be concealing it from anyone i would just worry about the smell then.

Smell is a huge problem, my 3 week vegged plants have my room and upstairs stinking to hell when I leave the doors open. When closed the scrubber takes care of it- but I ordered one this time. Try this. Will work wonderfully but only for like 2 months. May still need Ona block on ebay for cheap to take care of those stinky stinky days or just in case.

Yeah, it will be an issue. Just be prepare before hand, shouldn't be to much.

exhaust on highest near ceiling level of grow room; and intake low to ground level.

would two 75watt lights in a closet sized area work well for two plants?
