Who uses connoisseur, and is it really as advanced as Ive heard? Im growing a superskunk in a 5 gal DWC, and this is my first dro grow. Should I stick to sensibloom, or is it safe to give connoisseur a try?

Theres so many nutes out there, its basically at matter of picking one. Im pretty happy with the advanced nutrients sensigrow so far. Im prob gonna do organic for my next grow with grandma enggys, and the organic nute additives.

The ratios are dialed for flowering cannabis IMHO. Never used the stuff but of all the AN systems it is the one that appeals to me the most.

Its a bloom nute. A guy that used it told me it made his colas get so big, so fast, that he wasnt ready for it, and lost some buds cuz they fell down on their sides and the branches broke from the weight of them. Thats a problem I can handle I think. I read somewhere that ANs Rhino Skin helps stop that by making the stalks and branches stronger. Im gonna try it eventually, but Im cool with the sensibloom for now.

Sensi is awesome and the one I have the most experience with, so it's better for me to talk to that one.

That said, I have used some Conni in the past and it was amazeballs, but it's not something that I use regularly since the pH Perfect lineup came out and I got into my rhythm with the Expert Grower Level bundle.

I want things to be easy, but now that folks are talkign about Conni more, I'm wondering if I should start agains.

Thanks for posting this thread!

I went with the sensi. Conni might be a little too advanced for me right now. But on my next grow, its on. I might use it on some autos Im gonna grow, at a diluted dose, way diluted. I just switched my plants to 12/12 today, so about 8 more weeks, and Im starting over again.

Been running the Sensi 2part from the start. Was looking at the Conn line too.

As for Rhino Skin, they say it makes em stronger. My last grow still had plants drooping b/c the buds were too fat and had to tie them up.

Connie is perfect, ran Neville's Haze and got approx 7.5-8 oz off one plant. (weight isint precise because I took a lot of samples ;) haha)

I can be honest and say the first time I ever used connie, and the first time I ever grew Nevilles were at the same time, so therefore I have nothing really to base it off of, other than I had a beast of a girl haha

Veg was for 28 days to be precise, she only got roughly 6-8inches before I flipped the lights to bud, after that she exploded, but don't get be wrong Neville's Haze is an almost 100% sativa and it flowered for over 110 days before I cut her, and shit she could of gone another week! I also used a 600w light no co2 just plain RO water with Connie and two other additions in a 5gal smart pot.

Damn, 28 days? Thats pretty short. I vegged my super skunk plant for 80 days, and Im now 2wks into flowering. Im looking at at least a pound off of her, and if I had used conni, I bet Id be looking at more.

Well the strain I ran takes 110 days to flower, normally most only take 55-65 days to finish, I had a whole extra month of flowering than most, plus sativas tend to grow much larger than hybrids or Indicas, but I must say you could use 100 diffrent combinations of nutes and still grow dank bud every time, it's about figuring out what she needs and how to give it to her.

How was the smoke? Im not a big fan of sativas, but that might be cuz in my area all the growers grow indicas, and the occasional sativas that come around suck. Im growing a super skunk, and a kings kush under a 1kw right now, but my next grow is gonna be blue widow. Maybe come next spring Ill try some 100% sativas outdoors. Something heat resistant, cuz its africa hot where I live in south Texas for a good part of the year.
