Hi, all. My neighbor has a male Pine Tar Kush plant and I was thinking of starting some TGA Subcool Space Jill seeds to cross breed it with. Couldnt find much for info on Pine Tar Kush other then its inbred Pakistani. Just wondering what other peoples thoughts would be on it. I`ve grown before just never bred before. My neighbor found a place to put the male so it doesnt polinate all his plants, mine or our other neighbors plants, it would be kept indoors at a different location miles away.

go for it . nothing wrong with a little pollen tossing ( as long as it's planned).
do you have an end goal ? or are you just playing around ( which is just as cool IMO) ?

Mostly just to play around and see what we get. I`ve grown Romulan before, short bushy plants, 2 of them put out a little over 2 lbs of dried/cured bud and it was really good. Always wanted to try C99 but cant afford to order anymore seeds right now and the Space Jill is a cross with C99 and Romulan and the Pine tar Kush the nieghbor has is a heavy Indica that is a heavy producer from what little I read on it and seen over at the neighbors house. I got a bunch of other seeds I could go through and read up on to see if any others would make a good cross breed with it. But mostly just to experiment with, try something different.

if you want to chuck some pollen go for it! a common problem i see tho is that people find a male and think that being as the strain is dank, the male will be too, not true! you need to pheno hunt males as hard or harder than females as they are where the real curveballs come from! but to make it a little easier, take a look at this and maybe take a note or two as it is solid info

you can never go wrong with anything with c99 in it. ive been growing c99 for about 6 months now and its a pretty tricky strain to grow imo. super crazy stretching when put into flower and weak branches which droop bad unless supported. it is my fav smoke that ive had =] everyone i share with also say the same thing after they try it =] im going to be messing around and breeding it with some strains and see what i can come up with. im half assed clueless on breeding but since i got the interest recently ive been kind of ocd with researching it...there is sooo much info. ive grown for a total of about 11 years, mostly outdoors, and i feel like i know nothing =p
