First off, I am 18. I was curious if this pipe:
http://www.amazon.co...40172026&sr=8-6

Looked anygood. Ive always wanted a bubbler, but headshops around me mark up prices like no other.

But anyway, is amazon fast with shipping? Are they discreet at all? I mean yea Im 18 but my parents wouldnt like a pipe getting sent to theyre house, you know what im sayin? Haha.

In the mean time this Doobie is for you guys :)

you can pay a little bit extra if you want over night shipping but if you dont want to fork out the extra cash it should take a week or two to get to you

If you said you're 18 twice then you're probably not 18. But anyways yeah amazon has fast shipping in my experience and how would you get it delivered if your parents wouldn't like a pipe getting sent to their house?

Then yeah you'll be cool, it comes in a plain brown box. But i suggest you do overnight shipping because before i moved out i ordered a bong off gc and i was on the edge for like 3 weeks waiting for it to come. Such a nervous month. But my parents used to go through my shit

Amazon will ship at the shipping speed you pay for. If you pay for 2-day shipping, it'll be there in 2 days. If you pay for 5-8 day (standard) shipping, it'll be there in 5-8 days.

Though, this product isn't sold specifically by Amazon. The order is filled by Amazon and then processed and shipped by a third party company called "Buy and Happy".

I don't see anything on their page about where they are located, but if they're located in the US, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't just look like any other normal shipping package.

The only time I would worry about discrete shipping is if you're getting something from overseas that has to go through Customs, where they have to declare what's inside.

When you buy stuff that can be used for illegal purposes on Amazon, your information is automatically sent to local police enforcement who decides if they should take further measures.
Just kidding of course :smoke:

I can literally get the same exact fucking bubbler for 4 dollars at kash my local headshop. It's not all fancy with couloirs though but it's literally the same exact piece. LITERALLY

$17 still seems like a decent price to me. OP probably doesn't live wherever you live. :P

PS, if it doesn't have the 'fancy colors' then I wouldn't call it LITERALLY the exact same piece. Just nitpicking. ;)

I live in South West Michigan, Detroit area.

This piece would cost me 50+ here.

Glass makes a big difference though. I'm sure that the amazon piece is china glass and the headshop one is inside out or something. Or your headshop is just way overpriced

As far as I'm aware, it's been long known around here that "inside out" doesn't actually mean shit when it comes to glass.

And really, some people will call anything that isn't heady or a popular brand-name "china glass".
There are plenty of shops around here that carry production pieces from various glass blowers. Simple, cheap pieces. Pieces that people here would probably call "china glass" despite the fact that they're blown locally with the same sort of glass that any other blower uses. :P

The term "china glass" is over used, IMO.

If I were you, I would email/message the "Buy and Happy" company that sells the pipe and ask if they're located in the US.

If they are, then there's no reason it wouldn't be shipped in your standard cardboard box with no indication that there is a pipe inside. Of course, you could also ask them about how discreet their shipping is while you're at it.

Well inside out glass is much more durable, its 2x the strength of regular glass. Along with it being much more in depth and elaborate in terms of art. And the term "china glass" is over used a lot but that's because so many cheap pieces are made in china. And the china made pieces that are sent over seas in bulk are much thinner glass and no detail or passion has went into making them if you're into art or how it looks.

Although OP lives in a non-smoke friendly house, so i'm sure he isn't too concerned with getting an expensive piece of art. I love my BearClaw ROOR and care for it like a baby, not sure where this is going though, i'm smoking atm and just ranting. But yeah china glass is cheap and inside out is better and not bullshit.

I believe ya. I can see how inside-out style pieces could be more sturdy, since I assume it probably takes another layer of glass to make the inside-out look.

It's true that a lot of cheap pieces are made in China, but there are many 'cheap' pieces that are made by local blowers too with the same styling, just because they can make them quickly and sell them cheap. I know a couple glass blowers and I've seen their production pieces, and I'm sure a lot of folks here would call them "china glass" if someone posted a pic of them.

That's no comment against you though, just mentioning it. :smoking:

If you order it from Amazon through an Amazon facility then the packaging will be pretty damn discreet.

It will come in a brown box with amazon logos all over it.

I actually ordered my Da Buddha vaporizer a few days ago from Amazon with no problems. Amazon is the shit. Esp. when you have Amazon Prime.
