As far as I'm aware, it's been long known around here that "inside out" doesn't actually mean shit when it comes to glass.
And really, some people will call anything that isn't heady or a popular brand-name "china glass".
There are plenty of shops around here that carry production pieces from various glass blowers. Simple, cheap pieces. Pieces that people here would probably call "china glass" despite the fact that they're blown locally with the same sort of glass that any other blower uses.
The term "china glass" is over used, IMO.
Well inside out glass is much more durable, its 2x the strength of regular glass. Along with it being much more in depth and elaborate in terms of art. And the term "china glass" is over used a lot but that's because so many cheap pieces
are made in china. And the china made pieces that are sent over seas in bulk are much thinner glass and no detail or passion has went into making them if you're into art or how it looks.
Although OP lives in a non-smoke friendly house, so i'm sure he isn't too concerned with getting an expensive piece of art. I love my BearClaw ROOR and care for it like a baby, not sure where this is going though, i'm smoking atm and just ranting. But yeah china glass is cheap and inside out is better and not bullshit.
