Iowa Voting for medical marijuana

hey, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Iowa and medical marijuana because one of my friends that lives in a medical marijuana approved state said Iowa may soon vote for medical marijuana

I hope so man! But last I heard is that it is likely to pass within the next 5 yr. but idk. Hopefully soon!

If this is true thank god! So much good farm land that could be used for mmj.

I hope it happens too, if not i might as well just move.

It was on the floor but failed again..

Right now it's a schedule II, recognizing its medical value, and 64% of Iowans are in favor of mmj, so there's hope.

Also Iowa democrats added mmj and industrial to their platform, and the repubs are trying to get it back to schedule I, so that's something to think about.

But know that the Iowa Board of Pharmacy is pretty much in control of what should happen with mmj, although that will probably change bc they don't want that responsibility I guess.
