Nodes are the sets of 2 leaves that come out of the stem in different areas, that represent your plant maturing in most cases

In my opinion, I wouldn't use a random tent or tarp you find because its not getting anywhere near its full potential of sunlight. If you have the extra cash you should look into a greenhouse or mini greenhouse, meant for keeping bugs out etc, but allows enough sunlight to where to plant won't be that much effected if any.

EDIT: noticed the thing your using is pretty much a mini greenhouse, right on!

i have been reading up on nutes and there are so many... i have been looking at canna, ionics and biobuzz but even across them 3 there are to many to choose from, i am also after some silica product, it would be much appreciated someone could post a link direct to some nutes that will not break the bank and will work, just what ever you use will do because im stumped... also if anyone uses silica, please do the same. Thanks very much in advance,

i should have been more specific. at least 5 gal container , or plant in ground if possible. i used 1 gal in indoor hydro for years. the plants get root bound insanely quick. you'll get bud in what ever you grow in, however the bigger the container the better the harvest ,generally to a point. larger also makes watering easier.
