First Time Buying Weed and Buying Weed Off Craigslist

Narc...dont do it...100%...even if its not a cop it can be a kid waiting to lead you right to the arms of cops...dont EVER get weed from such a shady source!! 20+yrs exp telling you this man...

 

Come on, bro. Don't buy weed from craigslist. Don't meet some dude openly selling weed on craigslist. Like......... come on. Haha. That's just asking for trouble.

That news story only shows you that law enforcement will be paying even closer attention to weed sales on Craigslist. Beware.

Why would cops try to bust someone for buying weed? Still though, I'd be cautious.

 

Would a person who's actually selling weed on Craigslist give out his Facebook?
Think, If he was really dealing, he'd be worried about YOU being a cop.

 

This shouldn't be posted on here, but it isn't the police, because only possession of weed is illegal? saying you want to buy it isn't illegal? so if they are the police they would have to actually sell you weed before they arrest you.

Plus if you ask if they are the police, they will have to give a truthful answer, so always ask first and take no illegal substances with you.

 

I don't think the asking of police thing is true. Think about it how many people ask undercover officers that question...

Uh......the police never have to tell you if they are police.

 

Fair enough, I googled it and they don't have to say they are police.

But I am pretty sure to arrest you, you need to be in possession they can't arrest you for simply asking to buy weed? and the police won't actually sell you weed.

 

There is a possible you will be caught. Why risk getting arrested over something as non essential as weed. And he may not be a cop but they do watch and scan websites looking for people to meet up and arrest people. That happens all the time and I have friends as cops and they know I smoke and told me about their sting operations and how funny it is people buying/ prostitute on CL and what not.

 

I think everyone is missing the main risk here. Sure the dude COULD be a cop. But it's even more likely that he's trying to jack you. Think about it, how many good dealers need to ask strangers on the Internet to buy their product?

The cops will actually sell you weed.

 

If you do it, ask "Are youa cop?" over the phone, if they say no and it is. It's entrapment on their part.
