teSmp's Critical Sensi Star - 6 sq/ft SCROG - Single Plant

**Helllo everyone, back for my next journal**

This time I've got everything dialed in and it's going to be a good one I'm running one feminized Critical Sensi Star, it's 15 days old today. This is my first full size DWC grow but everything's going smoothly and I don't anticipate many problems because the environments set up pretty good..

I'm learning everything step by step from JakesterJammin and Unhinged throws his knowledge in, thanks guys My goal is 5-8 ounces from this single plant SCROG which will be 6 sq/ft.. My tent is 2 x 3 and the SCROG will be ran from corner to corner of the tent.

Grow Information

• Strain: Critical Sensi Star by Delicious Seeds
• Light: 400w Metal Halide - Veg
• Light: 400w High Pressure Sodium - Flower
• 2 x 3 Tent
• SCROG - 6 sq/ft
• Nutrients: Blue Plant Nutrients - 3 Part - Liqud Blue Bloom Booster
• Temps: 79-81F Lights On, 74 Lights Off
• RH: 45-50%
• Grow Style: 5 gallon DWC
• Res Change: Every Few Weeks When I Change Nutrient Ratios
• Exhaust: 4" Booster Fan With Carbon Filter When Things Get Stinky
• Intake: 80mm Computer Fan
• pH: 5.8
• PPM: 900 PPM Currently, Will Increase Soon (Tomorrow)
• Light Schedule: Was 24/7 up to day 12 and now it's 18/6 till flower.

How I Started The Seedling

Ok, this is how I started the seedling... It's a little different as far as PPM, lights, etc that most would do but I'll let the pictures do the talking. I initially took the seed and pre-soaked it for 24 hours in a porcelain mug. After 24 hours I took the seedling placed it at the bottom of the hole in a Rapid Rooter (RR) on it's side, with the point edge up as well. I ripped pieces of the RR and plugged the hole around the seed very loosely. For the first 3 days I hand watered the RR until it was moist and placed it by the window sill, under a 23w CFL at night (24/7). The seed popped above the second day.

After the seedling was 3 days old I mixed up a nutrient solution, equal parts of BPN with a PPM of 300 and pH of 5.8. I took the RR in hand and dunked it beneath the surface of the nutrient solution for 3-5 seconds until I saw most of the air bubbles begin to slow. Also on the 3rd day it was put beneath my 400w MH bulb.

I continued dipping the RR into the nutrient solution until the 7th day and here's what I got:

On the 8th day I placed the RR into the hydroton, set the nutrients in the DWC to the veg 1 stage. However, I upped the PPM to 900 and set the pH to 5.8. I know, I know, to much nutes for a seedling, but again I'm following the advice from JJ. My pictures show that it works quite well also

Now I've been hand watering every day (2-3x) since I've placed the seedling into the hydroton until the roots hit the res and now I'm only doing it once a day and tomorrow I'll stop completely. The roots are easily tripling daily. Here's day 12:

Well ya I use the button too, but after it adds the txt, I just add a width..
That way the image stays proportionate....

I was going to add it but when I use the button it puts the image straight in and doesn't show the code? I'm thinking the image resize code is not working... I've tried different variants and none of them are showing up...?

Yeah I know it's just the dumb way that img button is working.. Needs to be redesigned.. The pics there if your on a computer it's like 10x to big though.
