High schooler wins BMW for perfect attendance but can

A Texas high schooler won a BMW for perfect attendance, but couldn’t drive it home because he doesn't have a license.
Dustin Do, 16, scored the 2012 BMW 128 Coupe, but it was his parents who were feeling lucky: They get to drive the $36,000 car until their son comes of age. Dustin, a sophomore at Sam Houston High School in Arlington, was one of 10 local students randomly selected from a pool of students who didn't miss a day of school for the last six weeks. Three of the students didn't show up to see if the key they were given worked on the car, and Dustin was almost a no-show, too.

Even then... A $36,000 car? There are people out there who went to college for 4 years who can't even find a job that pays $12,000+ a YEAR.

Good for him yeah whatever, but still. Fucking stupid.

lol some kid at my school whos spoiled as fuck just had his dad buy him a 2013 mustang GT 5.0 and he doesnt even have his g2 yet, some fucking stupid shit

When I was in high school you didn't get rewarded for doing what you were supposed to do. Only punished for doing shit you're not supposed to do :P

i don't get it... why???? i mean, that's awesome, but 6 weeks isn't long at all. and a $36,000 BMW? a more logical price would be... i dunno, something other than a car?

fuck. where i work, if you have perfect attendance for a YEAR (not counting personal or vacation days), you get a mug. Last year I think it was a flashlight.

Where I used to go to school they gave every kid that went everyday a gift they ussually had ~700$ computers, Bikes, Big screen TVs, video games, board games, etc
