Help the West Coast end prohibition

Just emailed my mayor, local member of parliament, and eight city councillors regarding cannabis law reform. There's a fairly strong push for legalization in this province and a couple city councils in this region are in favor; if my city (the second most influential in BC) jumps on board, other cities are likely to follow suit.



What we need to do now is bombard the mayor and the eight councillors on Twitter (or email) with informative links or pro-legalization messages. That'd be enough pressure to warrant a discussion, and that's all we need.

Getting the city of Surrey on board with cannabis legalization would be the that final push we need here on the West Coast of Canada (BC). That in turn would get Ontario on board (also very pro-bud), then the rest of Canada, and eventually the States.

Please, be sure to leave a good impression. The last thing we need is for them to think of of us as petty potheads.
