Hey all,
So from the pics you can see this is no professional grow... Just something in my closet along with my vegetables to see "can I grow cannabis?" it was basic start from seed into dirt. The plant is pretty small but it really has some nice buds growing on it! What I want to know is when should I be harvesting this little baby? I see many hairs and crystals forming but it looks like more is coming....

Let me know what you think! I still have like 20 seeds saved for later in life.... Perhaps one day with my own little greenhouse....

Peace!

Hippy

How long would you say that it's been flowering?

I don't really see any buds yet, it's definetly starting to flower though. The couple signs I know to look for are yellowing of the leaves (means plant is almost done its life cycle and buds should be done) or get a magnifying glass and check out the trichromes, if they're clear the're not ready, if they're cloudy/foggy then they're ready, and if they're amber then they're ready and even stronger

I'd say it's been flowering a 2-3 weeks now.

Thanks for the advice y'all!

I know it probably has a ways to go but it's so exciting watching the little trichomes form and hairs grow :)

You probably have another 6-8 weeks to go, there is some excellent guides on when to harvest just look through the stickies. :)

Did you buy the seeds? Is it an autoflower plant?

Nope didn't buy the seeds... I have a little stash from random dank where one or two seeds cropped up... No idea what this one is.... could be granddaddy purp, could be blueberry, could be blue dreams, could be another random dank I don't remember...

I don't know if the live plant smells much different from the dried bud, but it definitely is skunky, but with a slight fruity/fresh hint that could almost smell hazy... but i dunno...

Yeh, it can be nerve racking when you first start to see those sugar leaves. But your patience will reward you.

I have found that it's a big help to write everything down. Write down what day you started flowering, write down what nutes you put in, when you watered, etc. Keep a garden journal. It comes in really handy.

Don't pinch anything off. It's not like the plant has too many bud sites.

righto it's been about 5 weeks since my last pic update.... here's where the girl's at. Those tiny buds have sprouted out and spread and the plant has filled out nicely... think it's time to cut? or should i give it another week or 2?
