Bladies and Gentlemen, it has been too long. After much deliberation, I've decided to post a public journal to catalog my plants, record my mistakes and misfortunes, and most of all to seek out the sagely advice of all the Guerrilla Growers here in Outdoor Journals.

Welcome!

A little background: I am no Pro! I am a long time gardener and I've done my fair share of indoor growing, enough to develop a love from growing and become familiar with Miss Maryjane. Because of my current living situation I cannot safely or effectively grow indoors, so this year I've decided to mix up some soil and play outside :) The mix contains: Blood Meal(12.0.0), Bone Meal(6.9.0), Kelp Meal(1,0.5,2), Garden Lime, pulverized egg shells (homemade), Gypsum, Earth Worm Castings, Multi fert w/ myko inoculate (6.4.4) more Microhayze inoculation, per-lite, vermiculite, water polymers, a good amount of coco coir (I Posted Image coco) and with a base of a local brand organic compost/soil blend. You can guess at the ratios, but mostly just average ratios but heavy on the kelp and myko. Most plants are planted 2x to a hole, will be culled to 1x per when sex is determined. Holes contain about 8-10gal of soil mix.

This is a guerrilla operation. All the below genetics were started from seed in my small garden, remaining unsexed, and then transported to their permanent homes in the surrounding wilderness areas. So far there have been successes and failures, but that's what its all about right? More on the failures in a little bit.

This year's show is staring the following ladies (in no particular order)

-Name / Genes / Company-
Early Skunk / Early Pearl x Sunk #1 / Mr Nice Seeds
Early Outdoor Sativa / (trade secret) / Ice River Genetics
Sweet Chunk / Sweet Tooth (f2/f3?) x Deep Chunk / Southern Star Seeds
Purple Cindy / Oregon Purple Thai x C99 / Highgrade Seeds
Viet Black x Thai / Vietname Black x Meao Thai / Ace Seeds

So those are the players, and there may be more coming late in the season. I realize I have no FMS seeds in the mix, a company whose product I really have enjoyed. I would like to find a spot to fit in their grapefruit x Nev Haze. Time will tell, can't ever have to many sat's.

So lets cut the crap and get to some pictures.

Early Skunk 3, you can see missing leaf sets here on one plant. There are also bug attacks... apearantly everything thinks this plant tastes wonderful. I hope I get to try it eventually, maybe I'll find out why everyone thinks she tastes so good :P

Purple Cindy - Our first loss of the season. A plant larger than any of the 3 EPS resided in that dug out hole there... the smaller PC remains un harmed. Probably a raccoon or squirrel digging for grubs or nuts or something. I pee'd on it again to help deter them. Only plot that had this problem. Another PC will be put in its place.

EoS - Got weak stemmed girl in the corner there. To be fair, the wind blows hard here. We will see how she recovers from her flop over, and see if she makes it out to the field

That sucks about the purple Cindy NC, how long are you letting them grow up before transplant out there? I'm letting mine go at least two weeks, as cold as weather was yesterday I'm considering waiting three which would be next week.. This should be interesting tho, the lineup sounds good, I don't even have outdoor strains to work with, but I figure they'll both make it out there.. Tried outdoor last year, it worked but the strains were too Sativa to finish in MI's short growing season :(

Ag- that pm is coming later today, gotta find a specific pic for you to work off of... take some guess work out for yah. Thanks bud.

Noob187- I let them sit for about the same time, 2-3 weeks. The early skunk and eos should be done by sept at the latest, might work for your season up there. EoS was developed in MI, keep an eye out you might be able to find her at your local retailer soon. I dont want to say much more than that.;)

Some yokle rated my thread already, lol. Hasnt even gotten started yet...

Good news bad news time. So, went out this morning to put down the last of the girls (minus the late start thai). Everything was put down, ended up with 2x Sweetchunk, 2 more Purple Cindy, and 5x EoS in the ground. The early skunk is doing great, minus the one that had leafs bitten off. More were bitten off, appearntly she is tasty to the deer, so she might not make it to harvest at this rate. That leaves 5x Early skunks, though technically all 6 are alive and well.

However, upon checking those older purple cindy I found some buckshot casings and some monster cans. I never leave trash, let alone bring firearms. Last weekend I tried to make a visit and saw the hunters walking out of my walk in spot. So we rolled on by, canceling that days work. I found the soda can within 1-2 feet of my little girl, so its hard to imagine they wont be back for dear season (currently wild pig) and see a tall marijuana plant. So I yanked the last purple cindy out and buried her :( Can't risk it. I had no idea hunters would be working those trails, there are houses not but 10 mi away...

I also heard lots of gunshots from the back woods while I was back there.

As far as I now the Early skunks, EoS, and SC and newer PC are safe. Those require a lot of bush whacking to get to, so I imagine guys to lazy to pick up their cans and casings wont be going to deep in the bush. Never know though, this grow just went nocturnal.

Hey, I'm dense, just found you!
coooool....

Don't get shot. You don't need a high IQ to get a hunting license and figure out how to put a shell in the hole.

Good luck bro on your grow. That sucks that your site was compromised.

Anyway, I voted on your thread and added a few more stars to the total rating. I could understand giving an inactive journal a low star rating, but you just started it:confused:.

You got some nice tomatoes going. I got some tomatoes, pumpkins, and peppers growing, but have not been very diligent about taking care of them.

But today, I feed them a nice mixture of fish emulsion, silica blast, aquashield, superthrive, and cal-mag. I'll see if that kicks their buts into action so we can have something good to eat - healthy munchies;)

Howdy benny

Yeah those are my early bloomers, my big beefs are just getting started. Got about a dozen tomatoes going on that plant in a 3gal pot. :yay:Good soil, water, sunshine makes um happy. Leaned really heavy on the calcium, they seem to like it. My peppers, however, fly me the finger every time I look at them... idk what to do with um :confused_2::laughing:
