I thought I'd take some pix of my plants.. I don't know how many days old they are but I am pretty sure in another 20 days they will be 100% ready to be taken down. I would like to know if any of you vet growers could theorize how much bud these plants are going to yield? Thanks to anyone who pays attention to this post and helps!! So much

If anyone has any suggestions on how to setup these plants better, your suggestions are welcome but I just spend two hours lowering lights and re=setting stuff up... blood and sweat -_o also popped all the lights in the house and had to use the breaker hahaha

Really tough to judge from those pics, how many plants and what strain? They look to have some sativa in them, and the buds are small and sparse, IMO those will not be ready in only 20 days.....with 20 days left, my buds were fully developed size-wise, they just filled out, ripened up, and put on weight the last 2-3 weeks.
Can you post more pics with some bud shots and provide some more i fo on your setup? Ex. Lights, strain, number of plants, etc?

Well I will post some new pics in a bit when they are on
But I am growing Shiva Skunk, and some MKAGE strain, and then afgan kush strain I believe. I will take pictures of each plant so you get a better idea. 3 weeks sounds about right. I am using A LOT of Soft White CFL's for this grow setup, and I have about four plants now with buds on them. Thank you very much for the reply

Cool, sounds good!
Ive heard that using cfls usually adds anywhere from 1-3 weeks onto budding time (compared to using hps) so you may want to factor that into planning your harvest. Do you have a jewelers loupe or cket scope? You will need to start checking trichomes soon to know for sure when they are ready

Hello,
Sorry but sad is right. Looks like heat and nutrient problems from here. How big is the light? How hot is it in the space? What nutrients and at what levels? It can be saved we just need more info.
Maybe move this to the sick plant part. Droopy leaves, curling, and burn. Could be more then lights. I have no guess but if you fix what is wrong it will greatly increase the last couple weeks is when the weight is added. And not knowing how far along in flower is NO GOOD!! Microscope and look at the Trichs. Hope that helped some.

Its a matter of preference....cloudy trichomes indicate maturity, most growers here prefer mostly cloudy with anywhere between 10-50% amber depending how much of couchlock/body stone they prefer

Hello
I have noticed through out all the growing I've done yellow leaves form and fall off the plants, while most the leaves remain green and healthy. The burning resulted from being too close to light, but I moved the plants.. I'll just take new pics for u both in a while. Thanks so much for the help

If you gonna do it do it right. Being prepared is not a bad thing. Although flying by the seat of your pants is fun.
Just use the Microscope. But again as to your original question No idea. 20 days + left why not try to iron out all the wrinkles now? to be PREPARED for the next one. Trust me once you iron all these little things out you will be amazed. Right now its just cool.

Thanks for the replies everyone, is really great. This is my very FIRST grow, so I am bound to make many mistakes, but over all the bud I'm growing is soooo dank smelling and looking. I took quite a few picture for you all and will call out plant names on next post. Hope u enjoy my plants, btw any hair on them is from this garden type string I Was using to train them.
I have a important question to ask; is warm water really bad for them? I filled a bottle up with tap water, and i thought it was cool enough.. but after watering them i noticed it was warm
;... I didn't mean to do that. Aside from that is fluoride going to cause a bad grow? Will it get in the bud and crackle or something after harvest lol? I am so concerned about using tap water but I am so broke and have no other option atm.

the first two pics are shiva skunk, second pics after are the other shiva. Then followed by the Afgan mystery strain I got from the seed bank, after that I took close up pics of the skunks and afgan. The pic with a finger in it is some MKAGE strain that I have no idea about haha. I hope u all appreciate my plants as much as I do! their plant spirits protect me

might I add as well, I am really freakin poor and that's why I am using CFL. I would love to use HPS, CFL, and LED all in the same room. Have therozied that this would be a very optimal setup and provide great lighting conditions for plants. I would love to start out with DAY LIGHT cfl's at the start of the harvest ... hehe

Also I am using FOX farm big grow n bloom.. don't have the third nut to top it off. I have been following the instructions on the bottle (lol), have not gone over 1tspb in 1 gallon of water with the blooming stuff.. Big grow you use half a tsp per half gallon, and 1 tsp per gallon.

Ah. You can still get impressive results with CFL's and on the cheap. I bet your problem is nutrients and heat then. Never follow those directions. Always start at a weaker strength. 1/8 1/4 etc and Tiger bloom is VERY strong. I would suggest a good flush (3 gallon water to 1 gallon pot)next time you water and maybe 1 or 2 plain waterings after that then reintroduce notes at 1/4 strenght and see how she responds Just make sure you do not over water.
Also do you know what your temps are? And cfls you want close but not close enough to burn. Put you hand at the top of the canopy under the lights if it is hot too close. And switch to 2300K if you could afford it, make sure you have 100 ACTUAL watts if your growing 1.
Good luck

I just looked at your picks after I posted whoops. More lights for sure but control temps. To me it appears to be a burn of some kind on a pic 3 and either heat stress or over watering along with a possible lack of lighting. You should ideally have 200 actual watts in there. But those pics do not look nearly as bad as the 1st set. I also believe they will need much longer then 20 days those buds look to have a long way to go.

Hey hello420, you rock. My temps are between 70 to 95F usually never going over 95. Thank you for your information, very helpful. I will flush here soon, but need to do more research on tap water. 2300k? Is that lumen output or something else? I'm a complete nooob 2 lights
