I planted a random chronic seed in a half gallon pot of MG soil in Feb. It sat outside for about 3 weeks then came in for awhile. It stretched like a son of a. I put it outside about a month ago and I noticed about a week ago it had seed pods galore. My question is how long after the seed pods come out does it fully mature? I figure I'll try to cook it up in some butter for the hell of it.

Look for trichome development. Could be as little as 5 weeks as much as 8. Use a loupe 20x or better and look at the structure and color. You want milky to amber and a mushroomy looking head. Pics would help

Haha. Its all good. Its a male. But it was a seed from what this Guy called cheese balls. I live in VA like 25 miles from the beach. I know it came from some good bud. So I wanna cook it up for some cookies but I wanna make sure I'm getting the most out of the male. He's like 3 ft tall and doesn't really have any "branches ". Ha. It stretched like crazy

Gotcha. Why not just harvest the pollen when it starts to swell and realease and use it for your next harvest? Idk is it worth it make edibles out of a male? Ive never really heard of that before.

You would be able to get something worthwhile off it, it's just not worth growing male plants when it will fuck up your female plants. I very rarely smoke and I get a buzz from smoking the leaves after I top my plants.

Kill the male, look I understand you want to get something from it but you could ruin another mans grow, it happened to me once, its not too late to start more seeds you still have 2 months of veg growth left.

No one else around here is growing. Guaranteed. Definitely not killing it
