Not completely sure if this is the right place, apologies if not. But basically, I've been a video editor since I was about 14. There's specific clips I need and this guy on the internet is willing to send me them. Only problem is they're all .VOB and are atleast 1GB, and we can't find any sites that you can upload and share that will work. Does anyone know any fast file sharing websites that allow big files to be shared?

no sites share 1 gig VOB files....

You need an FTP both have access too.

You can also zip the files (or winrar) and split the files up to send over emails.

If one of you have a website, upload it to the site via FTP. And download via HTTP or FTP.

Yep, since 14, doing music videos, trailers and TV spots with my own DVDs. I've never had to edit something that was sent to me over the internet, therefore haven't needed to use sharing sites before

Thanks anyway though, that was helpful.
