Does anyone have solid evidence of it actually soothing an upset stomach? Whenever I'm feeling nauseous, marijuana seems to do the trick. But is it all just in my mind? Someone give me proof!

Cannabis has been used as an antiemetic (medication against vomiting and nausea) for centuries.
Francis L. Young, former Administrative Law Judge for the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), made the following statement in his Sep. 6, 1988 ruling:
"The overwhelming preponderance of the evidence in this record establishes that marijuana has a currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States for nausea and vomiting resulting from chemotherapy treatments in some cancer patients. To conclude otherwise, on this record, would be unreasonable, arbitrary and capricious."
You may read the finding of facts in this ruling here: http://www.ccguide.org/young88.php
You may also like to read the IOM Report about medicinal marijuana as an effective antiemetic: http://medicalmariju.../IOM_Report.pdf. This report includes research from several studies.
Peace.

Crohns/IBD sufferers abound here.
Cannabis also slows gut motility if things are going through too fast.
There seems to be a lot of "signal" processes that cannabis/cannabinoids help to activate to start healing processes in the gut. I've also read where the intestines/GI system is essentially like a second brain in our bodies, constantly working with the brain to send the proper digestive signals and healing instructions.
U.S. Patent # 6630507 has a LOT of info as to all the things just CBD is effective in treating.
Just ONE component of the whole plant.
