Sex Offenders !!! Everywhere!!!

I have this sex offender search app on my phone So I can tell my mom, two sisters and nephew where to avoid.
They don't have many where they live so they don't have to much to worry about.
But I searched my neighborhood out of curiosity and there's one on every fucking street.
Theres one guy who lives right across the street from a school which I thought was illegal.
Keep in mind I live in a very small town.

There's no real monitoring of sex offenders here. Sure, they have to register and there are some wishy washy laws.. but nothing solid.

And you consider Ireland's rep with child molestation *cough*dirty fuckin priests*cough*.. well I'm shocked to be quite honest.

Unlike the US, there's no way of knowing about paedophiles in your area.

Edit: Actually there is a way of knowing if there's a sex offender/pedo in your local area here. Easy to look up and unfortunately, every place has one. They're called catholic churches

Keep in mind that all sex offenders are not pedophiles or violent. Also keep in mind that these people have been arrested, charged, and now have no rights to privacy. Sure, some of them will break their probation/house arrest rules and go back to jail, but many of them are just going to try to stay low profile because they already have no privacy. Imagine a place where if you were caught with drugs you had to register as a drug offender. Your private life is gone and everybody will be looking for whatever reason they can to send you back to jail to get you out of their neighborhood.

I think too many people get worked up over sex offenders in their neighborhood and websites/apps like this only make it worse.

If you happen to be within 200 feet of a school, even though it's 3:00am and no children are around, then you have committed a "sex crime against children." Or get a blowjob from your girlfriend in the car. Or have "obscene" porn (by the Judge's definition) on your computer.
