A lead based paint will be the most resilient to the heat.
umm isnt that bad for the bowl since u going have a flame over 1000 degrees

lol, yeah....... the lead kills the bowls respiratory system, really bad for the pipe

Lead is actually used as aromatherapy its very beneficial to your health to inhale the fumes

yea you should read up on glass blowing before you try, watch some vids etc.
I would recomend not only watching videos but renting space at a place with real equipment. My buddy used to make glass bowls out of beer bottle glass that he would melt down into a pile with a blow torch.
Some of them are still floating around the area. But he made like fifty of these things. Thirty of them broke before they cooled down, some of the rest were un-stable. They would explode or break when you tried to smoke out of them.
Basicly don't play with hot glass, it tends to explode due to temperature changes and whatnot.

also depending on the cash you got i would try and find a local artist to teach you how to blow glass it might actually save you money in the long run
