how do you paint a glass pipe?

im sorry i dont know if i posted this under right for spot.durring the summer im going to be making glass pipes and i want to color the whole bowl to look like mushrooms and all that and wated to know.what paint do u use so it dosnt hurt u lungs?

yea you should read up on glass blowing before you try, watch some vids etc.

I would recomend not only watching videos but renting space at a place with real equipment. My buddy used to make glass bowls out of beer bottle glass that he would melt down into a pile with a blow torch.

Some of them are still floating around the area. But he made like fifty of these things. Thirty of them broke before they cooled down, some of the rest were un-stable. They would explode or break when you tried to smoke out of them. But a couple were good enough to smoke out of and haven't been dropped yet. They're really delicate.

Basicly don't play with hot glass, it tends to explode due to temperature changes and whatnot.

also depending on the cash you got i would try and find a local artist to teach you how to blow glass it might actually save you money in the long run
