My friend found this crazy rock and I was wondering if anyone in GC can identify it? It looks and feels kind of iron-ish.

Damn, I know for a fact that there is a blade on the forum that is actively studying geology, doing some pretty cool experiments. Saw him in another thread a few weeks ago, maybe he will stop by :smoke:

I'm not sure where he found it, except it was on a backroad in West Virginia. I'll ask for more info tomorrow.

Damn, I know for a fact that there is a blade on the forum that is actively studying geology, doing some pretty cool experiments. Saw him in another thread a few weeks ago, maybe he will stop by :smoke:

well the reson that i ask if it was near water because that erosion chould have hollowed it out, but it doesnt look that way, i wouldnt think it could naturally occur
