I'm looking into getting a solo, but i have a few questions and some advise would be greatly appreciated. First off i own a EQ and i LOVE it! im wondering how the solo hits compared to the EQ. Also wondering if anyone has any good vender suggestions. I want to make sure i get the warranty on it. Thanks for the help and like i said i will welcome any suggestions! :smoke:

oh, I'm also in the market for a good grinder too, nothing top of the line but i don't want junk either and i don't know much about grinders...

I've got both. I definitely prefer the Solo. Get the 4 hole stems if you can. Check it out at fuckcombustion.com. It's a great vaporizer site.

Yes they do. I am also a owner of both the Q and the Solo (though my Q isn't with me anymore) and the solo hits as milky as the Q, however you can't pull as fast off of it. Sort of like drinking a milkshake instead of a coke.

Wow! I truly wasn't expecting that the solo would be BETTER than the eq! what makes you guys like it better? Is it the portability or just the ease of use?

I recently received my solo and I love it. I can't compare to the EQ however since I don't own one. The battery life on the solo is awesome. I usually do 3-4 bowls, or sessions, a day and it didn't need charged for 3 days. However, it probably lasts longer... I used it 15+ times Saturday to show it off to my buddies. They also love it. Once you can figure out to drawn perfectly, the clouds of vapor are amazing. I usually get around 8-9 good hits from one bowl. Make sure to save the vaped bud! I'm going to make firecrackers later in the summer. Overall, I love this product.

on a side note, I broke another stem this week. I'm up to three. :-(

I think this is like asking "how does this apple compare to this orange?" I don't think you will find any portable that compares to a good desktop but if you compare portables to portables, the Solo is probably the best there is and about as close to a desktop as you can get and still be portable. I love it. It's easy to use, performes great, and has really good battery life. For the grinder if you don't want to get the best which is Space Case, then get a Sharpstone. You go any lower on the grinder totum pole than that, and you are on your own because I am no fan of cheap grinders. In my opinion Space Case is the best. Mendo Mulchers and Cosmic Case are a step down, and Sharpstones a step below that. Those are about the only grinders I'd use. I think you get pretty much what you pay for with grinders.

Thanks for the input guys! I ordered my solo yesterday so i am now playin the waiting game. It comes with a grinder....aerospace maybe? i did look at the space case grinders because that's the only brand name I've ever heard of, but they were a lil out of my price range for the moment. The only questions i have now are, can i get a car adapter for less than the $25 dollar ones i see on the internet? And can i vape while it charges on the car adapter?

Adapter is about $20 and no, you can not vape while it charges. With the AC adapter you can vape but not charge and with the car plug in you can charge but not vape. I wouldn't worry to much because the battery life is really good. You would need to go through a lot of sessions to drain the battery. I have the AC adapter and I never use it.
