if this helps Pig pen, i only listen to hip hop and gangsta rap. I currently have some 20 dollar sony in ear headphones and they're just not cutting it. i want all around good headphones but mainly im just concerned about how it sounds with all those background beats in the music i listen to.

There are a few things that Sony does right. Audio, unfortunately, is not one of them.

Pigpen has it right, Sennheiser is a great company and they make great products.

but do you think the link you just sent me is better than the sony $100 ones above? if so why? sorry with all the back to back questions, it's just that im kind of in a hurry to order a pair of more than exceptional headphones its been WAY too long with these crap $20 ones.
