When prisons are created for profits then all the incentives are on the side of keeping people locked up forever.

This is how slavery works in the new world order. There are more non-violent offenders in prison in Louisiana than violent offenders. It's 182 million dollar industry.

I wonder if lawmakers invest their personal wealth in private prisons?

Those are good videos I haven't seen before. The jail I was locked up in was a former factory of some kind. You could see they had replaced the workstations with steel bunks and covered the electrical outlets.

Prison IS a big business in this country. The way I've been seeing it is the Upper Class are paying and employing a Middle-Class (police, military, corrections officers) to enslave the once Working Class. The explosion of the prison industry has coincided with the gradual outsourcing of manufacuring and agriculture to new slave labor markets like China, as well as the boom of the illicit drug market/drug war. The few at the highest levels of wealth and power get off on the pain and suffering of others, and these prisons they have been building are their layers where they have people tortured. The spiritual side of me says it has something to do with their opposition to God and the natural order of human beings. They need the develop unnatural institutions and manufacture weapons to defy the will of God, and maintain a God-like power over their fellow humans.

"Ain't it funny how the factory's doors close...
'round the time that the school doors close...
'round the time that the doors of the jail cell open up to greet you, like the reaper!"
