Let me start this off with this, I am no political guru so dont judge haha. and also I am not a democrat by any means, i am a libertarian, who supports RP. However my dad told me that if i couldnt vote for paul, who'd i pick, I said obama, which he looked a little surprise by. He is a lawyer who makes about 300k a year (republican obviously) and is nearing retirement. He constantly bitches about democrats raising taxes and taking more money from him and some how brings me into it because he says I choose obama over romney. Now i need some comebacks

thanks

Doesn't matter who's president, they are still going to be taking orders from the elite.

I can't really help you there. Maybe you're creeped out by Mitt Romney's comically-out-of-touch-rich-guy routine. I guess. :confused_2:

This is not a great place to come if you're looking for pro-Obama talking points.

  • Get a big brown paper grocery sack.
  • Find a pastor with cows.
  • Fill bag with cow patties.
  • Roll top and staple it closed.
  • Place a republican bumper sticker on one side of sack, and a democrat bumper sticker on the other side.
  • Hand sack to dad.
Tell dad to just pick a side as it is the same sack of shit, and it doesn't matter...:hello:

Romney is no different than Obama. Tell him you'd vote for Gary Johnson if you couldn't vote for RP. At least it would mean something.

You don't have to vote for him if you don't support him. Maybe you shouldn't vote for him if you don't really want to. Just write-in, vote third party or don't vote for a president at all. Unless you live in a swing state, your state is probably already going to go red or blue no matter who you vote for.

Might as well vote according to your conscience.

Just ask him does he know who supports him through money.
Follow the money trail and you'll find out who they get their orders from.

You could always say.....ah, fuck voting. And when your dad tries to talk about it say, no thanks. Politics exists to make sure nothing happens in a timely manner. Arguing about it's pointless.

Yes Romney will shut all clinics down faster then Obama at Least Obama smoked and knows its not harmful ..... Should I write in Ron Paul or vote for Obama (dont want romeny to win, did you see how he ignored the almost dying man in a wheelchair , who asked romeny if he would put him in jail for smoking mmj) I'm voting this year first time .... Will Romney also enforce health care ........... I know they both suck but we aren't doing anything about how about we spread the word and get to people to write in Ron Paul ...... Even if he doesn't win but if a big enough crowd did it and it got on the news about how a write had more votes than either candidate . Then we can finally show how we dont want these fuckers that aren't gonna let use decide what we want ... ..... I'm going to write in Ron Paul I hope other people do to .....

No, we cant tell if YOURE serious.

This already informs us you're not a political Guru but to be honest you dont need to be to realize this. Just take a bit of reading on many sides and common sense mostly. Obama and Romney are similar on the important issues and barely even differ on what... health care? Gay marriage? Something that the gov shouldnt even be a decider of.

They're both for Big government and government spending. They're both for this bullshit war. They're both for a lot of what is bringing this country to dust. Isnt that kind of weird? Ive asked this many times before, do you care about the wellbeing of obama or romney? Do you care if they were to die tomorrow? Do you care if they became ill? If not then why would these rich ass sellouts care at all about millions of people under their feet? Come on.

THis who two party system is bull fucking shit.

Its like this. You are a child with a mother and father and you are about to expect a new sibling into the family. After he/she grows a bit, Momma democrat wants you to share your limited number of toys and that pisses you off.

Poppa republican wants to stop spending money on getting you new toys and maybe you'll get tired of them and end up sharing anyways and build a relationship with your sibling.

All the while mom and dad go out everynight killing the neighbors around them stealing their money and hording it to themselves or giving it to their partners in crime even though your little ass is begging for some toys and your sibling wants some milk. They're also trying to make their own toys out of paper to see if you even know the difference.

Better yet, just tell him a vote for Romney is a vote for Obama, because Romney can't carry the conservative vote. Romney in this years election is no different than Kerry was in '04, the democrats knew there was no chance he'd win, but they had to have a nominee so they went with him.

A large percentage of real conservatives would rather stay home on election day that vote for Romney. Ron Paul would get the voter turn outs, Romney won't.

I have a hypothesis that the bankers WANT Obama to win again, there is NO way that they'd send somebody as stupid as Romey to try to win because they know he can't.

So no matter if obama or romney wins he is still going to get the same amount of money taken out of his paycheck? Because that is what he seems to complain about the most

Well, you'd have to splain why you'd pick Obama at all. If they're going to force the false dichotomy of which shitty candidate you'd want (you ALWAYS have the choice to vote for neither, either by voting for a write-in candidate or just not voting at all), then you have to explain why you'd pick Obama. None of us are going to be able to tell you why you said what you said, that's something you have to "comeback" yourself.

If you're a libertarian, you would lean more towards the Republican party in fiscal conservatism, yet more Democratic in social liberalism. Democrats want to spend like money grows on trees and Republicans want the bills paid (in theory, at least), and Republicans want to force their socially conservative ideas on everyone while Dems are more inclined to let people do what they want to do. Obviously these aren't really concrete other than those who are far to either side of the spectrum, and many Reps love to spend our money just as much as Dems and many Dems love to force their social agendas on us all just like Reps do, they just have different bullshit justifications for their hypocrisy.

If it's Romney, he will say whatever the political winds push him to say to get elected. He's as Big Govt as Bush, and he won't shrink govt any more than Obama. He may lean towards shrinking it more slowly, but he sure as shit can't legitimately claim to be for ending cronyism (i.e. Big Govt+Big Business) any more than I can legitimately claim to shit Skittles and rainbows.

Obama on the other hand has a very clear Keynesian, Big Govt agenda he's pushing, and you've seen the kind of bullshit he's done in his time in office. You've seen his own brand of hypocrisy, you've seen what he's done/not done and this has been with a re-election to worry about. Imagine how unaccountable he will be when he's on his 2nd term. You're a smoker, have you not noticed the Feds shutting down dispensaries around the country? You don't have to be a political science major to see the policies he supports do nothing but harm to the country in one way or the other. You don't have to be a mathematician to understand that his "budget" (which got exactly ZERO votes in all of Congress, btw) simply doesn't work out. It's not difficult to understand that having more and more fiat money being printed and wasted just inflates the value of the dollar, and it's pretty simple to figure out that if you spend more than you take in you're not going to last very long. It's also easy to see that higher taxes makes for lower revenues, and that (theoretically) raising $500 billion over 10 years when the debt is currently $16 trillion and continuing to skyrocket just doesn't cover the difference.

Also you have to factor in Ron Paul's influence on this campaign. If you've been following him, he's focusing on picking up delegates so that his positions are put into the Republican party's platform. The Republicans simply cannot ignore RP supporters if they want the RP supporters to vote for them, and Obama sure as hell isn't going to add anything like auditing the Fed in his platform.

So yeah.... dunno why the hell you'd give Obama a damn chance but that's just me...
