Hey does anybody know somewhere I can find a nice looking silver watch? Like any good websites, or brands that make nice looking, affordable watches?

  2. High quality and affordable doesn't make the same watch lol

  3. fossil is affordable and high quality imo. Mine isn't silver but cost around $80. If you're looking for cheaper go with relic or something like that. If this is too cheap for your range I can't help you because I've never spent over $100 for a watch.

  4. it can. ive bought a couple old timex automatics on the cheap from ebay. they've been working great for years and i wear them everyday. one of mine looks like this except with a date

Orient is also a good company for reliable, affordable watches. i dont own any but know people who do and theyve been happy with their watches

  5. Go Nixon, I have 3 of them and they are badass, you can get all variations of them ranging in price anywhere from 100 bucks to 2000.

I just got this band online the other day, Still waitin on it so I don't have a home photo, but I am putting it on my old Automatic Timex, the poster a few above knows whats up, they rock like a rolex on a budget.

Sterling Silver .925 with 10k and or 14k overlay. made in Mexico in the 1950-70's range
Brand new in the box, 39.99 shipped with a sterling silver and abalone shell inlaid money clip, that I plan to sell. I got lucky IMO. I love auctions.

  7. Seiko and Citizen/Bulova. I wear Rolex/Omega/Roamer and other "pricey" watches but I'll still always wear Seiko and Bulova, the automatics in them are great. My Seiko DayDate is from 1994 and hasn't been serviced since, still works perfectly and the reserve it great. And Citizen/Bulova have some great solar powered watches, and their Accutron automatic movements are crazy, they move at about the same rate as a Rolex at like 1/20th of the price, I would highly highly recommend checking them out.

  8. I'm also trying to get a casual but classy watch... A lot of the Nixon's (or at least the ones I've seen) seem kind of "surfer brah" if ya know what I mean. Someone prove me wrong I want to invest in a watch soon :D

  9. Which wrist watches are swiss wrist watches?

  10. have a low key grey cK watch thats really thin that I enjoy wearing and then also a Swiss Army Victorinox. I enjoy the aesthetics of the victorinox and how it tells time, but its so bulky that I find lately I'd rather just go with the cK

    Calvin Klein Men's Minimal Watch # K0311110')

  11. go to ross or tj maxx for cheap good watches. I've gotten 2 invictas from ross that were around $400 and i got em for less than 80.

I myself have a tag and a tissot though, love a good watch.

  12. What do you consider to be "affordable"?

Anyone that spends $2000 on a Nixon needs to have their head examined.

  13. When you buy a watch you buy a watch.

  14. I would guess, since most guys dont particularily like to wear jewelry, that either a Skagen or Swatch watch would be both stylish and most comfortable.
