Newbie grower here that just came back with a clone of bubba K, FOR OUTDOOR GROW.
Flora Grow , Flora Micro , and Flora Bloom from General Hydroponics
And my growkind.com beginners guide told me get a catalyst and a bat guano (bat shit)
SO I did but now I dont know if this formula is accurate or appropriate for an outdoor grow setting and I am in one of the sunniest states.
Please help me with a good recipe that utilizes all the nutrients I currently have for a successful grow.
Its my first week
This is the formula recommended by the guide
Breakdown for 5 gallons of water.
.6oz -flora grow
1.2oz -micro
2.2oz -bloom
2.2 -Bat Guano
1.4 -catalyst
Can anyone help me and see if this is correct information.
I dont want to kill my babies.
Also I need a good ph tester. Will any ph water tester work?
Sorry I know this is alot of questions, but any answers are greatly appreciated guys.
Thanks in Advance.
Warm Regards,

Remember what the nute makers give as a guide use as a max level recommendation. Start off 25%-50% of what they say to see if your plants can take it. Its easy to fix a nute defenciecy but you can kill a plant fast with to much.

Thank you very much. Should I be looking for a soil ph tester or water ph tester or both. Sorry for all of the questions. Just a little confused as to what needs to be tested .
Thank You RRocks.

You just need a waterproof one to use with liquids. I like the Oakton eco tester.
To test your soil pH you just do a 1:1 mixture. Half of the volume soil and the rest water, then mix and let it sit for 15 minutes and test the pH. Be sure you are using the water already pH adjusted just like you'd be adding it to the soil.

Yeah I really like it. I had one before that wasn't waterproof and I dropped it in my reservoir and fried it.
