As i said this is the first legit grow i've ever done and i'm doing it guerilla style..
nothing really special, i got the seeds from some mexican shit brick. i would buy from a seed bank, but i want to have some experience growing first, so this is kinda an experiment. Here's the details:

-i planted straight into the ground without digging holes (i know i'm doing it wrong, i realized my mistake but it's too late now)

-the plants seem to be doing fine in the native soil, one of them is by a creek where the soil is really just all clay.. so i'm not really expecting much from that one. the other two are up on a hill where the soil appears rich, airy, dark brown, and filled with worms

-both spots provide the babies with plenty of sun

-i have invested in some cheap ferts.. Mater Magic for veg (8-5-5 i think?) and Jode's for flower (2-5-3)

-i have just recently added the Mater Magic mixed with some eggshells to get rid of slugs and provide plenty of nitrogen

Basically, i just want to know, am i doing this right? is there anything else i can doright now? is my plant by the creek doomed because of the clay-like soil? any responses would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks :D

The one in clay, I agree, will likely not amount to much.

The others, however, I think will be just fine and possibly not need anything in the way of additional nutes. Just keep an eye out for bugs and their water needs. It's just a plant, and I'm sure that hill side is covered with plants!

Have fun!

Thanks for the advice! i'm still going to at least try with the one in the clay though. it's weird, i planted all of them at around the same time and the one i planted in clay is on it's 5th set of leaves, and the others are only on their second set. oh yeah and also i went back to my plants 2 days after i fed them and there were tons and tons of flies checkin out the nutes around the plants but none on the plants themselves... is this a problem?

Flies? No problem, and I guess the nutes are chock full of organic matter to be attracting them. I'd wait on fertilizing again until growth gets thin or slows. And hell yeah let the one in clay keep on keepin' on!

Yep i'm trying to keep everything organic so i guess that does explain the flies. and yeah i've heard your plants will tell you when they're hungry lol so i'll keep checkin for the signs. thanks for all the help man, i +rep'd

one more thing though, and don't laugh. instead of mixing the ferts with water, i just sprinkled them over the soil. i didn't know :o... should i just leave it? i mean it couldn't do any damage but will it even work this way? i did water immediately after i laid the ferts down though.

whats legit about this grow? its like your trying to kill them.
u should dilute your ferts, your loucky your pot is the size of the globe, try that shit in a container it would be curtains lol

and whos gonna figure your location from a closeup of your plant? unless you have some location services on your cam??like iphone

they're all organic ferts and i fed them half the recommended dose (for tomatoes).. i'm pretty sure that won't kill them. i know i'm a dumbass because i didn't mix it with water.. i realize that now. so should i scoop the nutes off the top of the soil and dilute them with water or should i just let it be?
