Starting the next grow. I just picked up a tent from htg to replace my amazon gyo that broke. I currently have 5 out of 8 seeds that have broken ground, hoping the other three will be close behind. This grow is going to be:

2 x Smurfberry auto
2 x Pandora auto
4 x Blue mystic auto

So far both Smurfberry, both Pandora, and one Blue mystic have sprouted. I am straying from my usual jiffy pellets sprouting and picked up a rapid rooter tray, heat mat, and 7" dome. Did a test run and popped 5 of 6 bag seed with the rapid rooters. I am hoping the rest off the blue mystics will be soon to sprout.

Setup is:
55" x 55" htg tent
600w HPS with cool tube
424 6" exhaust fan running at 50% with a speed controller
Htg carbon filter, (doesn't work well at all, ordering a phresh next week)
Soil grow using 5g nursery pots with ffof soil, amended with 20% per lite
Nutes, once given will be Lucas formula using gh micro and bloom at 1:2 ratio

I will be running a 20/4 cycle the entire grow.

I will post some pics once they are all popped.

Nice progress. How many grows have you done prior to this? I just started my autos a week ago. First grow. But till now they look nowhere as developed as your ones. Could be the fact that im vegging the first two weeks under 2 65w 6400k cfls. I then plan to move them into larger pots, box and under a 600w hps.
Would appreciate it of you could have a look and give suggestions. Good luck on your grow. Will be watching

They always love having more light. They seem to take off under good lighting.

Awesome, I hope its some good smoke. I still have three seeds left of it for another grow. It has been slow to start compared to my Pandora's and blue mystics, but one took off finally and is pretty decent sized. They are labeled sub in my photos I'm going to try and post.

They seem to be filling up very nicely. I was wonderig if you ever had one droopy leaf. Thats what one of my plants are showing. Everything looks good except for one broad leaf which is drooping and almost touching the ground. its tip is slightly curled up too.
Any ideas, recommendations?

Today is day 12. Heres two pics. From the look of the leaf i looks very funny. There is no stem. I know it sounds wierd but it seems to be hanging on by two leaf threads on the bottom left and botom right of the leaf. Dont know if you can tell from the pics.

I won't tell you what to do. I generally leave them on - its like walking with a limp. Of course you still want the leg, but you're slow and most likely dead if theres a fire :) Just something to weigh out when removing the leaf and considering shock at such a young age. I experienced this most when I used Fox Farm Ocean Forest - which brings about.....what soil are you using? Thanks for the pics, really helped me grasp a bit better.

I put some support underneath the leaf to raise it up a bit. Leaving it there. Not planning to cut out the leaf. Im using biobizz all mix. its dutch. however i had to mix it with nursery bought unferilized soil and coco husks.
Have a look at my thread(below). its pretty uptodate. leave a comment or two. thanks for the help.

Yea, two of my three Pandora have ridicuously huge first leafs that are droopy, and actually touch the soil a bit. I am guessing from the leafs that they are reacting to the hot ffof. The rest of the plant is doing great though, and new growth looks fine so I am not worried about them. Over reaction will kill plants quicker than most problems themselves.

Some people pull leafs that dont look healthy and swear by the practice. Personally, I leave them on until they come off with a very gentle pull. If they give any resistance I just leave them on and try again later. The way I see it, the plant will get rid of the leaf when it has no more usefullness.

Sounds good to me. Ill leave it on. Wont bother with pulling it. However if the other leaves grow and this one stays the same i might be enticed to cut it off. Lets see what happens in the next few days. However, the priority right now is getting a lamp. Pronto

Day 16 and 20. They have all hit a small growth spurt the last few days. I began adding 1tsp per gallon of gh cal mag plus with todays watering. Next watering I will most likely start with a low strength feeding using the lucas formula of gh micro and bloom.
