So when he first started running, I saw all these little "VOTE FOR RON PAUL" and "RON PAUL 2012" campaigning advertisements and all that and then like EVERYONE on GC started throwing him in their sig and all that, so i'm thinking that hes one of the MAIN candidates but then i start following whats going on and actually reading for myself and it looks like NOBODY outside of the stoner community has any frikken interest...

Every time I watch the news he has like..no votes or states following him.:(

My opinion, I REEEALLY wan't him to win, not because of the legalizing or whatever but because one of his points about "focusing on OUR country" just really really tickles me like YES!!!! FIIIINALLLLY! :metal::metal::metal::yay:

But in all honesty, I don't think he has a flying chance in hell.
I'm hearing all these arguments about him being "scary" and a "threat" to our office and i'm like wtf??? why?

I think the only iffy thing about him actually winning the race would be his age...
I mean, who KNOWS if that man can go another four years ya know?

Whatcha think?

The media is against him, so he's not getting out there like he ought to.

Whenever he is brought up, it's either for a minute amount of time or in a negative light.

I agree with you.

His chances, this year at least, are fucked.

It doesn't help that he doesn't take funding from mega corporations and other big interest groups, so he doesn't have that same degree of campaigning as, say, Obama did.

I don't keep up with politics much but I know it's him vs Romney now and I was told yesterday by a friend that Paul is getting more delegates and "is poised to take some of Romney's"

I have no idea, but I'm almost certain if Romney wins this country is 100% swirling down the shitter in record time, faster than it is now.

He wants troops in Syria. He wants military strikes in Iran. He spins like a top. The man has been for an idea, then against it, then maybe, which Romney will be left standing? :smoke:

Like I said, I don't keep up with politics much. But I do know he was in favor of NDAA. And Obama said he was not going to let his administration follow through with the NDAA (despite signing it and screwing us over) so since Romney was in favor of it...yeah...shit's going to get bad if he wins. Scary fucking shit.

He's like down 400-500 delegates last time I checked..

CNN has a delegate tracker and so does Presidentialprimaries2012.org or whatever..

Just google presidential primaries.. It'll take you the site I'm talking about..

Sorry people. All the "Just wait for the delegate.." people. Sorry. Even if he won EVERY delegate in Texas and Cali which I think has already passed.. He'd still be hundreds of delegates behind.

I don't even understand how Romney is in the lead. I've heard nothing but negative for that guy on all angles. I tried hard to look for Romney supporters so maybe I'm just not looking hard enough or something funny is going on here.

Unfortunately, I dont think he will win. He really doesn't have a chance at this point.

This may be his last attempt as well, He's getting up there in years.

"Nothing can stop an Idea whose time has come."
Ron Paul can win if we the American people act.
If Ron Paul has the revolution behind him, and that revolution won't stand for political corruptness, election fraud, lies, entertainment masquarading as news etc. Then we can accomplish things.
It's everyone's negativity and unwillingness to fight for what is right that is at fault here. Don't be a deaftist. Everyones saying "I HATE THE STAUS-QUO" and "ALL POLITICIANS ARE IMMORAL LIARS" because everything is f***** up. but those same people oddly when you show them a genuine honest politician and the ability to change that which they hate they doing nothing or worse discredit and mock it. Join the revolution and do what's right for yourself others and THE WORLD.

edit: hope to God he runs as a independents as well if not the nominee

We.. Libertarians and alike thinkers.. ARE a minority. As much as I hate to say it. There's more people who think shits fine then not. :/

Can't revolt when the majority is still stuck in there bubbles.
