From what I remember about the movie, a man that fears going outside lives under a very busy highway overpass. His house often shakes, he is very uneasy about staying in his home but has no interest in the outdoors. His house was extremely cluttered. One day, he wakes up and looks outside and there is nothing...just an infinite white, flat landscape. There was a scene in which two people bounced a colored ball around for a while and talked. He walks around, meets random people...about all I can remember right now.

Okay, this may be a long shot because:

1. I am not sure that this was a very popular movie at all.
2. I rented it from a very small DVD rental place in Vermont years ago.
3. Most importantly, I do not remember all details from film :smoking:

Do not let that deter you, blades!

Anybody have any ideas?

Any help is appreciated, I will be eternally grateful :smoke:

It was most likely an independent film, but surely I am not the only one of the forum that has seen it, it was in a video store

I don't mean to try to hijack your thread (..maybe a little), but this made me think of a movie that I saw once on IFC years ago and have since never been able to find it again.

It was an older movie (I couldn't approximate the year), but it was in color. Some guy goes downtown to a bar. He meets some woman there who invites him over. There's a whole sequence of unfortunate events throughout the night which leaves him stranded downtown. I remember he ends up getting locked out of the woman's apartment and he can't get back in, and he has no money or something, and he can't get a ride (he might try hitchhiking). I remember he goes back to the bar eventually, I forget what happens there. In the end I think he is able to get back home in the early morning?

Also your tags made me crave root beer..damnit

Heh, sounds like an interesting flick :D No worries about hijacking the thread, probably a lot of people with the same problem. Might be an interesting thread idea :smoke:

I was really thirsty when I made those tags

Rats, it kills me to hear that. I have provided about as much information as I can I am afraid :o I knew that was going to be the major issue in this endeavor, thought it may be with the shot though. The film I saw appeared to be fairly low budget.

And yes, once he notices that everything is gone he decided it was suitable to explore. He meets up with a buddy at some point as well.
