High times recently posted an article basically saying out of the hundreds of strains only 8 have high CBD. OG kush is one of the 8

  3. i don't know how legit this info is but i have heard it many times before.
i've read many times plants left longer before harvesting will start producing more cbd. like leaving it a week or two beyond the normal harvest time so more trics turn amber than clear. also that the heavier the indica the more cbd, that i believe from expierience.
anyway i prefer ganja with high cbd myself it works for many things. and can already see the high cbd plants are superior medicine for those that truly need it as medicine. it definitly makes you calm, gives you better appetite and cures pain better than tropical sativas.
the one plant i have grown in the past i believe had good amount of cbd was legends ultimate indica. i was first given it by a buddy that grew it and it was the best medicine. i grew it alonside some c99 that year and what a differance completly differant highs. i will agree with the guy above that og kush is nice for relaxing as well and i would think it also would have a good cbd content.
wish i new more on it but i don't i have thought for years that cbd strains are what i need myself and lately more than in the past i have seen the trend forming in that it has become desirable. i am sure within a couple years we will see many more bred specifically for cbd content.
i will even say that the cbd probly has the healing qualities that some attribute to ganja and not so much thc.

i hope some of the intelligent ones will come give their 2 cents on the subject. it is also one i would like to hear more on.

  4. I think TKO is right, CBD is usually linked with the health benefits associated with cannabis.

FYI this link has more information related to CBD than you can read. This particular link has a strain list.

thanks for weighing in guys. im new here and it seems like its hard to get a decent conversation going. not sure whats up with that. a thread will get views, but no posts. before long, the thread is so far down the list, it gets lost. seems like a waste of time to start a thread.

anyways, i read that there is a seed company in spainthat specializes in high cbd. Dancehall is on of their better known strains. looks killer.

so what medical value does a speedy head buzz sativa have?

as for the indicas calming you down, i agree, but have seen some that cause paranoia.

  6. Not too sure about what strains do what but I saw a show on tv that showed a medical store in Colorado that makes cannabis oil and they make a special concentrated batch for a leukemia patient and it supposedly helps him fight it either by helping white cell reproduction or target the leukemia itself, I forget which one. Took a pound a month though

There's a few specials on Netflix from msnbc that was pretty interesting

  7. Is that info avalible online somewhere?

Only 8 strains? Don't seem right...what is considered "HIGH" anyway?

CBD is becoming more and more the focus...

  9. Chernobyl is one of the highest cbd

  10. Harlequin tested @ 8% - 10% CBD. The original true blueberry strain tested @ 9% CBD. Not sure if you can still find pure blueberry though.

  11. I tried harlequin right when I woke up so I could notice the difference from a baseline perspective.

It's definitely a body high from the CBD, made me really comfortable and relaxed and there wasn't any haze feeling or sativa like effects. You still get just as medicated though, I was stoned.

  12. Greenwerkz in Colorado are releasing their high CBD 20% low thc less than 1%, called R4, at this years Cannabis Cup in Denver on 4-20. it's being released in seed form, here's the link

  13. I think the biggest myth is that CBD produces a high or stone of any kind. You breed CBD rich cannabis because you DONT want to get high. I've grown a strain, Ruderalis Indica, which Sensi Seeds claims to be high in CBD. Personally I loved the strain. When I had friends try it, they talked about how no matter how much they smoked, they didn't get higher. It was very even-tempered weed, which is what I like. I like weed where I can roll a big fat doobie and not go on a time warp. I'm very sensitive to weed, and rarely smoke at all, so I'm strange like that. I also have a chronic pain problem and like something that numbs the pain and leaves me completely functional.

Take my comments witha grain of salt since I never had the stuff tested.

  14. well said sir!!

  15. What about cbd crew anyone try them or heard anything?

  16. Now that's a damn good question. I've been all over the internet looking for reviews and only found one or two posts.

All I can remember is that the nordle supposedly produces a very calm high, which I must admit is exactly what you'd expect. I've been surprised to see no reports, and I'm really thinking about grabbing some seeds real soon just to grow them out.

I definitely haven't seen any lab reports indicating if they actually produce high CBD levels.
