After getting two plants ripped from me last year, security is going to be taken up a notch--the locations of the holes have been placed in safer areas and activity in those areas will be greatly limited. However, sunlight will not be sacrificed, as these spots should receive around 10 hours daily.
I am currently in the process of wrapping up a micro organic grow, so having the chance to manage a mini environment over the winter has helped grasp the basics of utilizing living organics. I'm hoping to carry that knowledge over to this grow and build upon it in order to cultivate some monster plants this year. Waterings will consist of mostly creek water and AACTs.
Now for the fun part!
Strains:
Female Seeds Purple Maroc
Barney's Farm Red Dragon
Female Seeds C99 Hybrid
G13 Sour Candy
Ceres Seeds Northern Lights x Skunk #1 (freebie)
Soil Mix (per hole):
1 cu ft Pro-Mix equivalent
1 cu ft mushroom compost
5-6 pounds EWC
.5-.75 cu ft composted horse manure
~2 cups kelp meal
~1 cup high P bat guano
~1/2 cup soft rock phosphate
2 cups neem meal
2 cups Azomite
I started all five plants inside over the first two weeks of April in organic soil, mostly consisting of pro-mix, EWC, and mushroom compost. They have been watered with AACTs almost every watering. Judging by the fast growth and overall health, I think it's safe to say that the tea is doing a great job.
Anyways, I invite anyone and everyone to follow along; we're here to help each other out. The plants will be transplanted into their final spots over the course of the next three weeks. Until then I'll be posting pictures of the young ones every week or so.
Season has officially begun!
