This is gonna be my second grow attempt after fighting root rot, and spider mites and replacing my entire DWC system to remove the rot. This time I am taking all precautions to avoid rot, I have a 4 layer thick bubble bucket with a 6 inch airstone inside. I replaced my 10 gallon pump with a 30-60 gallon pump for the extra oxidation, i will also have frozen bottle in my rez to help keep temps down. That stuff is nasty I hope i never deal with it again. but just in case i got myself some hygrozyme, and will be using it for the majority of the grow to insure that I will not get the rot.

Anyone else ever use this stuff? If so what was your outcome?

I have a 6 day old Autoflower NL fem from nirvana seeds that is doing very well, on its third leaf set, the second leaf set is already 3 bladed and i can see new growth all over. 24/0 light cycle until tomorrow when ill switch too 20/4. This plant is growing very well compared to the last two, and my hopes are very high for her.

Conditions:
39% humidity, 26 degrees C, 20/4 lighting 5000k cfl, res temps are 65-70, pH 5.8-6.2, straight tap water besides 6 mL per gallon of hygrozyme, ppm 206.

I have a beefy bagseed that should spread its wings open soon in a rock wool cube with a bag over the top, the taproot is sooooo thick!

Any advice or feedback is really appreciated!

I'll be interested to see how this goes, I was thinking of building a similar setup.

I have some yellowing on my cotyledons, kind of concerned its to early for them to be yellowing naturally. Anyone have any idea what's going on with them? I hope its not rot :/

Other than that the NL plant seems to be growing slowly but probably doing a lot of rooting, should be through the pot any day now. Today was the first day 20/4 lighting, and i also gave it a watering from the top of the pot with some water with hygrozyme in it. I need to figure out a way to keep my res temps down all day still though, my frozen bottles seem to melt fast.

My bag seed soil plant is growing very well, very stout plant compared to how my autos have started. Gave it a nice watering today with hygrozyme ph'd water, hoping that will help it root a little faster.

The other plants are just some tomatoes! figured why not hahah.

I wouldn't worry about it to much, seems like they tend to yellow and fall off after the plant establishes a few sets of "true" leaves.

UPDATE:

Day 14 DWC DAY 8 SOIL

Both plants are doing very well! I have the auto NL running at 600 ppm with full strength grow big nutes. The soil plant is getting a combination of some big bloom, hygrozyme, and distilled water. The soil plant is actually really really large in general, compared to my auto that is. The auto is rooted through the pot, I did res change 2 days ago and added my grow big and hygrozyme combination, she seems to be in a slow stage right now I hope she pick up. I try to keep the pH at 5.5-6.0 but its always ends up at 7.0-7.5 I have to adjust 3 times a day. Anyone know what my problem could be?
