After looking at some other threads and researching forums I found no recent threads about portable vapes. I know there have been some new releases such as the wispr and the arisr solo but I was wondering if there are any others. I am swaying towards the wispr after having a great experience with the iolite and need some advice. Btw the wispr is $180 on eBay!

The solo is $160-175 online, make sure you get an M106+. Da Vinci is a little more as its a new entrant. Tons of info on this though, check out fuckcombustion.com as well.
I would definitely recommend the Solo, have had mine for a month and haven't touched anything else.

Arizer Solo or DaVinci

Just checked out the DaVinci, I like it! Im wondering how reliable it would be since its new, though . Also, can the new solos be used while it is on charge?

For reference though, you can get 6-9 12 minute sessions of continuously hitting it before needing a charge. And a charge takes 1.5-2hours from battery level 3 to 7/full.
One 12 minute session and you're pretty freaking stoned, much higher than a trench with the MFLB. 2 12 minute sesions and you are super stoned.

Currently own the Solo though. If you have the money for it, definitely get the Solo. Love the design on it.

I've had my DV about a month now and my only complaints are small nitpicks. It will be interesting to see how well it does long term.
Would love to see a car charger adapter and more easily replaceable battery though.

I have and use the Vapir NO2 and am pleased with it. You can purchase a car charger from their website (which I recommend as it functions 1000x faster when it's plugged in.)
Have you tried the iolite? I wanted to try the no2 but haven't yet. I've seen the reviews, their pretty good. I like how you can use it while its plugged in, that's a huge plus. Is there anything you don't like about it?

There is a lot of new vapes coming on the market that are based on the e-cigarette tech. I have fooled around with a Rempen wich is essentially a Ego-T e-cigarette that a local dispensary sell hash oil cartridges for. It works really well but it has to have those cartridges.
I recently found out about a new portable vape on another thread that looks really interesting. Here are links to their websites:
Revolution Vaporizers | ThermoVape
Revolution Vaporizers | ThermoVape
The Evolution seems to have the ability to vape bud, hash, and oils. I have never used these, but they are set up somewhat similar to the Rempen. I think these, if they are as advertised, might be one of the better units out there.

I have a MFLB and I like it. It does have a learning curve and is not a good vape for a group.

I have an Omicron. I have not tried a vape pen with bud or hash because mine has no attachment for it, but for wax/oils it does the trick very nicely. Warms up in 5 seconds and away you go.
It is strictly for oil/wax though, so you need easy access to a dispensary if you plan on getting them. The Omicron v2 is the equivalent of the ThermoVape. They have another one called the Persei which seems to be the best vape pen in the market.

ThermoVape has a large line of vapes. for basically $200 you can have a fully portable vape that can use anything from botanicals, solid concentrates, liquid concentrates and e-juice!
There is even a coupon code for Grass City to get 10% off!!! (GS10%OFF)
How does it compare to the Omicron? I would like to know how much it can store in a cartridge and how many hits a battery will last?
A local store recommended me those, but the Omicron serves me well for now.

I heard there have been different model numbers? What's up with that?
Nothing really. Over time, they have increased the number of holes in the stems. If you get a older 2 or 3 hole model and it's drawing to hard for you, get a new stem with 4 holes for $9. I have nothing to complain about with the performance of my Solo. I have the A/C power adapter so I can use either the battery or the wall outlet to power it and it came with the charger. I can't vape and recharge at the same time though. On the other hand, it's never been a issue and if I was able to do it, I have never needed to.
