Darkest of the Hillside Thickets - Goin' Down to …: http://youtu.be/k-xFqPuIfPM This is More punk than metal but still kind of heavy metal in a Danzig, Ghost sort of way.
Some excellent black/death metal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NfiNwI1I8w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ-D5IdnAQs
I bought their first CD a long while ago. I decided to re-check them out yesterday and found out they've got a few more albums. Really solid sludge / post-metal band. Ordered this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1-VyRn6pLs
I hate trying to explain what black metal is to people who will never understand https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J56HOE3u6-s
I just got home from playing a show with these bands in Greenville SC and it was great! I really enjoyed both bands that played. The drummer of Anicon is also in Krallice. Cool people to hang out and drink beer with as well which is always a plus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQjHLzIbdRQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6c-HeXBxlMs&spfreload=10
Swedes do death metal best. Absolutely mean fucking riffing and a sick haunting solo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OHS0kiGf-I
Exodus last night were SO fucking killer. I don't care for the guy, but I love Souza's vocals. I am so happy that he's back. How's this for timing?! After the show, I went to the bathroom, waited in line for about 90 seconds, took a piss and walked out. As I'm opening the door to go outside I look to the right and coming out of the door I see my High School US History teacher, who happens to be my favorite teacher of all time!! We hugged and caught up for about 15 minutes. I told him how I always knew he was a Metalhead haha he's such a cool guy, I didn't want to ever stop talking to him. It was such an awesome experience for me, not many people can say that they've moshed with their favorite teacher! Also, Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, and Exodus TONIGHT! 🎶Is this deliverance? Is it the end?🎶
That sounds so sick I would love to go back in time and see them with Paul Baloff. That dude would get me so hype I'd leave with a few broken knuckles haha Shred!!!!!!!
Dude, I was mesmerized by his technique. The way he used his bass pedals was unlike anything I have ever seen before. I'm not sure how do accurately describe it but it was as if his ankles were based on a rotary style ball & pinon system lol. He used some of our drummers set so hopefully his talent will be infused into the drums somehow. He starts getting into some interesting techniques at 2:00 into this video and once again at around 4:00. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiSJ-KU44PE
I'll be playing at this black metal festival tonight with fucking Hellgoat!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ0zR9uEsdw
That's a sweet lineup. I'm friends with a few of the dudes in Vesterian, they live not too far from me. I'm not sure if they still play their old stuff or not but they're a pretty good band, though the new stuff is a little polished for my taste. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7YDIkqllII
