I can get a iPhone or a droid tomorrow since my contract expires. I'm not sure what to get. I want to be able to play games and listen to music efficiently. I also want the calling and texting to be good an easy what are your guys opinions?

I personally don't like apple at all. But that's my opinion. But I think the best u could get is an HTC android phone.

Either or. I would personally say Android because I don't approve of Apple's business practices and ethics, as well as their snobby fanbase and ridiculous premium price points. But both have similar footing in terms of functionality.

Keep in mind features dont cross over into functionality. I have had both. I am quite satisfied with the iPhone. It does what I want without any shit. Although a majority of the Android phones have alot more features I have found those features are moot when they aren't reliable.

Just to point out how ridiculous the above post is, I should note that I have posted on GC from many phones, the first of which being a Motorola KRZR, which was a simple flip phone. Your ability to post on a forum from a phone is nothing new.

I'm not usually an Apple fan, but the iPhone is one hell of a phone if you can afford it. If you hate Apple/are poor, then get any other phone, it's all really gonna be able to do the same shit.
Unless it's a BlackBerry, they don't do the apps too well....

I had the droid x2. I loved it and thought it was great but it got smashed at work. So i bought the iphone and i like the iphone Alot more.

I say avoid contracts at all cost. Get a phone from govn. surplus and get yourself a monthly plan you can quit whenever you feel like. That's what's up with my Samsung Omnia and I couldn't wish for a better phone.
