I would love a motorcycle but I know several people who were killed on one. My biggest problem is I really want one, but hear these stories of people being killed and it not even being their fault. Some other cunt will crash into them, kill them, and then go on with their lives with nothing more than an airbag burn.

Yup that's pretty much it I would like a new vehicle my car is paid of and I'm pretty tired of it. My budget is about 10k. If I get a car I'd like either something with a V8 or jdm that I would WANT to invest money into. Or a motorcycle probably a r6 or a gsx-r6 or something similar. If I get the bike I would keep my car so I wouldn't have to ride. But I also drive on average about 80 miles a day so gas is a concern.
Opinions???
If you have year round warm weather than I'd go with the bike.
If it snows or rains often where you like I'd go with the car.

^ TruthDepends where u live man. If u have alot of open country an not city riding go for. I live in nor cal an it's nuts out here. I had a gsxr an hot hit by a dumb bitch that ran me Into a semi truck. All this while doing 60 mph. Broke my back leg both arms an some bad road rash. It's not if u go down it when u go down an how bad it's going to be. Saying this I ride on closed tracks now an it's the shit.
I have a 05 CBR 600RR so let me say that.. there is want and need. If you get what you want( a bike or fastass car )your going to have to pay the consequences of not having what you need. You get what you need have to pay the consequences of not having what you want. The economy is getting worse with gas rising blah blah blah.. you know the BS.. ALL I say is find your balance.
From my XP, a motorcycle is where its at but in the city it BLOWS. Motorcycles are made to RUN. Not sit in traffic and stop at stop lights that dont turn green and bs like that. It needs the highways or track. I have had mine for over a year as my daily and I have seen it all and luckily have not been down yet but I know I will see pavement sooner or later like danko said its just a matter of time. It all boils down to being ontop of your shit though. When you are not on top of your shit and fully aware of whats going on is when you fuck up. Words for the wise. Good luck bro at what you decide.

Not even man. I was on my shit an the stupid fucking lady saw me in her mirrow an didn't want to let me in. You can be the best ridder ever but u have to Remeber you are riding with the worst drivers ever. I don't even think about taking my bike onto public road anymore. To many stupid people out there. You should buy a car an save for a bike. When your bike goes down an In the shop what will you do for a ride.

Im not saying it was your fault bro, just saying that when it comes down to it you have senses and brain to avoid the bs almost always. Yes there are times when you just so happen to be in the perfect timeing to get hit from behind from some dumbass who was not paying attention BUT you have the choice to which lane you are in, which cars you want to be infront of and how your going to slow down to make sure they see you slow down, whether or not to blink your brake light while you are at a stop, ect ect. All in all you CAN avoid all the bs but that does not mean that you will.

what kind of car do you have and where abouts do you live . I live in nh and have a vw tdi so its all open roads and my car already gets good mileage so i d go with a bike but if you live in the city, commute 80 miles and drive an f350 then i d be looking into a honda civic or a tdi or something to save on gas. its all situational.
Live in central California mostly flat open highway to and from work. Mountains close by that would be fun to ride. And I drive a 96 Saturn sl2 gas mileage now isn't my problem. I bought the car for 1600 and but 3000 in repairs so far and still need new radiator ASAP. I'm tired of that shit. I'd rather make a payment or gas that I KNOW I HAVE to have instead of 2 or 3 hundred dollars every few weeks..
