Just Another Bag Grow IV (400W Mh / 1000W Hps / RDWC / 5x5 Tent / 8 bucket)

I had a major family problem that caused me to destroy the seeds that I had germinating and set me back about 45 days.

Well the time has come and new seeds was germinated

I started with about 50 bag seeds and got 15 to germinate

15 Seeds went into rockwool and so far 3 have sprouted leaves and has roots growing out of the bottom of the rockwool and was put into the RDWC buckets

My intentions is to take the first 8 that sprout leaves and use them and trash the other 7

The RDWC system took 32 gallons of water.

The water temp was around 76.6

The Ph was around 6.3 from tap so I am not going to mess with it for now

The ppm from the tap was 176

I made a minor plumbing change this round after haveing a near disaster when one of the buckets over flowed last grow.

Another change I am going to make is to add another drain just above the intake flow that leads to another bucket. That way if the bucket fills past the intake, the additional drain above the intake will let the water flow into another bucket to drain and prevent an over flow

My tap most of the time was around 6.8 to 7.2 so I was kinda shocked to see it at 6.3

I did a 7.0 to 4.0 calibration 3 times on 2 ph meters and both got the same 6.3 reading

I am hoping for at least 5 of the 8 plants to be females.

Pics will follow in a day or two when the rest of the plants start to sprout, I can see caps and leaves trying to pretrude

It was seeds collected over the last few years.

If I had a seperate room I would grow and perfect one strain

I am thinking about getting another 132 gal pump and seperating the 8 to 4

You really should! I bet you could do a lot with some solid genetics:D more of a variation for you maybe?

Had some grape tastings smoke a couple years back that I'll never forget. One of only two or three bags I've ever had that I couldn't finish a bowl. If you come across it, let me know, lol. In the next few months I'm going to check out Deep Purple and see how that compares.
