This is the first seed I ever put into soil about 11 months ago! This plant has been through hell while I've *kinda* learned what I am doing. She struggled her whole life with poor care and neglect and its a wonder that she didn't just curl up and die! I nearly lost hope and left her for dead a couple times tbh... but this girl always pulled through and was the first test subject to enter my flower box after construction, and in there she thrived and after about 4 months flowering she gave me 2 ounces of sweet sticky herb.

This bagseed plant grew on a 2'x1' (although it only grew to use 1'x1') scrog under a single 150w hps bulb.

I still have another girl flowering and should be ready for harvest in another month or so. I expect about double out of her as she is a much fuller plant and has filled the 2'x1' scrog quite nicely!

    Enjoy,
    -d0p3-

p.s. I am revegging this plant so I hope she will continue to mother clones of this filthy nug for a long time! If that doesn't deserve +REP then I dunno what does!

  2. Grats man, looks nice! Have you smokes any yet?

  3. Looks nice man, congrats! Smoke any yet? What kind is it?

  4. not bad for 150 hps scrog from bagseed first time.

its amazing how awesome scrog is, i dont understand why more people dont use it!

scrog > sog all day son

  5. The uncured quick dry small buds that I kept separate (the small jar) for smoking while I wait a few weeks are pretty tasty and smell like hay until you break them up, then you get a light fruity sort of weed stink. Its a pretty pleasant smoke even tho its lack of curing makes for a bit of burn. I think it should age nicely!

Considering the condition of the plant when I moved it to flower, this is nothing short of a miracle! My flower box is in my sig. The plant shared a 2'x2' box divided into two 2'x1' scrog in 5 gallon buckets for pots. I am very pleased with my lil 150 watter!

  6. Make a journal on your next go around man! The buds look good! :D

  7. Wow, all that from one plant? I really want to grow soon.

  8. Well guys, I found a few under developed seeds in the bud today. Looks like it was trying to go hermie towards the end and I'm really not surprised.

I chopped the mom I was revegging, cleaned her off and made some qwiso out of the clippings.

Think she could have possibly pollinated the other plant flowering in that box?? Sure hope not!

  9. Two ounces with a 150watt HPS? Nice man, for a first grow it's a good thing she pulled through! Any plans for a new strain? Or will you keep cloning this momma? :p

Thanks! I have another girl approaching chop and I expect 3-4 oz from her!
I have some seedlings from some good bag seed I'm gonna try out, and a clone of the one approaching harvest, but this strain pictured will be history once its all smoked up.

  11. Def need to up your wattage for better potency/yield, but nice job for a first time man

  12. Because there are often more than one factor such as space size and height that must often be taken into account.

Not everyone has a space to do scrog in. Sometimes a better use of the space and time is sog. They are BOTH valid methods.

I use both for instance. I find certain strains just do not perform well in scrog no matter how long I grow them or how dense the screen is before flowering. Some strains prefer fewer tops on them.

It is amazing and works great but it is not the only way.

  13. :hello::hello:!!!MORE BUD!!!:hello::hello:

Yeah, so I harvested the plant that was growing in the same box along side the one posted before.

This batch is MUCH sticker than the first and was such a pain in the ass to trim!

I had 85 grams of dry bud
(seen in the 2 large trays and the smaller jars)

and about 25 grams of quality trim that I'm gonna qwiso.
(the large jar to the left)

Where them 150w haters at now!?! ...I joke!
.....but seriously, check it out! :D

  14. Fuck man, nice! I've really got to try growing some time soon. :smoke:

  15. Thanks! ...and yeah, you really should.
I really half assed this grow and I'm stunned how well things turned out! I can't even imagine what it could have been if I had really been on the ball!

  16. I grew 8 x 12" plants in 2 liter soda containers under a 150w light. Worked like a champ! I'm all for them. I used one of those cheapo MH/HPS electronic ballasts (with 2 lamps, and reflector for $120 shipped). It worked quite well in a small space. Who's hating on them?

  17. No one person in particular really... I just see a lot of posts talking about the negative aspects of these lights.
...I mean sure, they are the least efficient (as far as lumens per watt) hps, but this isn't to say they don't grow big sticky filthy nugs, son!

  18. ...so I think I over dried this last batch before it went into jars. Still smells decent, but I feel no moisture and don't really think curing has had much impact.

  19. damn son.. you are producing a lot with that small investment.. of a 150 watt hps and bag seed. Very efficient!
