Does anyone on GC do graffiti/tag?

I do and I love it. It's such a great rush and I love to express myself and make people look and or laugh at what I've done. A lot of the time I just tag in very public places and write messages, but I do murals and stuff too.

I used to. But it just seems like too much to risk at my age now. I have definitely had that rush tagging an overpass looking 5 stories down. I still carry something to mark up random places though.

Dude graffiti can be cool and artistic at times but it's not cool to tag on a building that someone else owns. Id be pretty pisseed if you did it on a building I own. You guys should stop giving yourselves a bad name by doing it in public places. Not everyone likes it.

There's an entire thread for graffiti in the artists corner. All you had to do was look.

But yeah, been writing for a couple years, but only seriously for the last 6months or so.

Yea when I was 12 .... Then I grew up ... Graffiti is cool but vandalism is NOT , go paint on your own house If you wanna tag

I like graffiti but never got into it, never could write that way i have sloppy handwriting

A friend of mine that was big into it broke into our highschool at night time and threw his tag up every were in the school

It's not like anyone tags cars or people's personal houses. Or when it does happen its very rare or done by someone new to the game who doesn't know the "rules".
I agree that I'd be pissed if someone painted on my shit, but painting downtown on alleys, dumpsters, blank walls of highways, etc. only makes the city look more interesting IMO.
And painting freight trains does no harm as well.
Graff just makes things interesting that before was bare and boring

Ah well my thoughts on that are that it's cool in my book to paint the back of businesses, but the front should be left alone. But the back where they don't advertise their business is free game to me

Well im from LA where people seem to think that they can just tag anywhere. It's just really pisses me off when I see personal property tagged on. Other than that it's alright.

used to write scam but it got so fukin hot

when i got nicked a few times not for graff, climbed to the verry top of a crane was fukin cool but the aftermath wasn't, i stopped and also when I hit 18 its just not worth it

can go to fukin prison in the UK for graffing... such a joke

Good tags are okay, but dubs are good they give the city a more humane feel ya kno, instead of all the gritty grey concrete everywhere... also love the ones with messages one that stuck in my head all over switzerland was: libre? and free?
