I have an 11 yr old POM that had developed arthritis. The vet gave him pain pills but I didnt want to give him drugs of any kind so I began juicing pot leaves and adding it to his food. You cant get stoned off pot unless it is heated so there was no danger to him.

to make a long story short since starting this 6 weeks ago he is now as playful as a puppy again and shows no signs of the arthritis anymore. I add half a shot glass to water and mix it with some dry dog food 3 times a week. His hair looks better and his eyes have back the glow but mostly he is getting better without mediation.

thought I'd share this with ya'll if you are having any problems with your pets. Ifpot can cure cancer "run from the cure" youtube...then its gotta be good for our pets was my thinking.....it works

to see him in pain was too much, dogs become family. I'm sorry for your loss. This continues to amaze me. This weekend he played like he was a puppy again for hours. My daughter has always called him her little brother.
no vet would believe this but if you have an older dog with problems..its well worth a shot, it cant help and it has helped Skip beyond my expectations.

I'm glad your dog is feeling better. I have to tell you that you certainly can get stoned with pot even if you don't heat it. I know this with certainty because I've done it. Before I knew anything about decarbing, and before I'd ever had a MJ brownie or cookie or anything cooked with weed. I took a tablespoon of powdered dry leaf in a spoon of honey. It didn't work that evening but at work the next day it just crept up on me out of nowhere. It worked well and for most of the day. So it does work, it just takes forever. Here's something else to consider. I have arthritis pretty bad. I'm on SS disability for it. I smoke daily and have for longer than....well, a long time. I still have arthritis and hobble around. For me it doesn't really help the pain, but it sure helps me deal with it. It hurts, but I don't care as much that it hurts. So, sorry to pick nits, here, but you really are getting your dog high. And I don't think that is a bad thing, it's the right thing to do in your circumstance because it helps your dog. Whatever works is what I say.

My dog loves to eat the stems i break them up for her , every time i am smoking she runs up to me and waits for her stems . Stopped doing it after her stomach surgery though and when i found my bag of dank as an empty baggie in her dog bed one time

Shoot, not to derail this thread, but should I start eating pot leaves, too? I have a bad back. I'm not such what's wrong with it because I'm not the type to hit up a doctor for something so stupid, but sometimes it hurts to the point that if I'm stand up and can't sit down, I'll just stand and watch tv or whatever, haha. Smoking helps, but I don't always want to smoke or be high, you know?

Don't feed it too much or none at all! It would probably upset the dogs stomach really bad.
