What to do with BHO'd flowers?

Hey GC, for all of you who make your own BHO:

What do you all do with the flowers you used for the BHO run?

I've just always thrown it away; never thought otherwise, until now that is

sounds like you got the right idea... just toss it bruddah it's no good after you run it

Throw it away. If you did it right, most of the THC is gone..

after 2 runs its done for sure.. I usually do a first-run with the buds only lightly broken apart by hand (or if its shake nuggets just unbroken) and then a 2nd run after I grind it up.. after that its got pretty much nothin left in it, I've tried running qwiso for a 3rd run but its just not worth it

PS-and i tend to run a lot of tane through my tube so all the THC is prolly gone

ive read alot of places say that bho process is more like a thc stripper and the buds actually stil contain thc. i save mine up until i have a couple oz's then use that to make edibles .

and it's safe to consume ? hmm never thought about that. every time I take the bud out of the honeybee I alway's look at the bud's and I fell like I can still see trich's, lot's of them.

you will still see the trichs because it does not melt or remove them it pulls all the thc out of the trichs and the empty trich shells are left behind

also yes it is safe to make edibles out of the left over bho weed but you need a huge amount to make a decently strong batch

My budyy had nearly a qp of abr buds, he blasted it all again and got a a good amount of oil. He made qwiso with that stuff afterwards just for shits and giggles and got about 2 grams of some crude iso.

So basically you can make oil with it afterwards but it won't be nearly as good.

Better than letting it go to waste..

Make some ISO oil, its great for edibles!

I disagree, I do ounce runs, get solid return, get as much out of the dish as possible, then make some iso oil in the same dish and get solid return again. Sure it's only good for edibles but still, it's incredibly potent.

so lately i've been doing just 2g runs (using my homie's strain who supplies some local clubs; his shit runs like 24%+ ALWAYS) and consistently getting back .5 and .6 which means the herb is like completely useless afterwards.

PS-butane isn't an issue for me so i tend to run ~300ml of butane through each 2g batch (which is a lot for such a small amount)

You run that much tane through 2g?! That's more than I run through an oz. Really hope tane ain't a problem, because your wasting it.

so lately i've been doing just 2g runs (using my homie's strain who supplies some local clubs; his shit runs like 24%+ ALWAYS) and consistently getting back .5 and .6 which means the herb is like completely useless afterwards.

SO your telling me that with 2 grams your getting .5 .6 so with 8 grams your getting 2 and a half grams? can you tell me how this makes sense because when i ran a half oz of that crazy fire we got just under 2 grams. and i know at a certain point your washing in the chlorophyll and waste products so i'm guessing the extra weight you acquired actually decreased your potency to a blacker or darker looking wax rather then the wanted bright greenish wax

Bright green means you've washed in waste, it should be amber in color. As for the returns he's getting, they're pretty standard.

The dark the more bad shit u got.. doesn't de.crease the product... Just makes it less healthy.

You're getting some bad returns then..I'm assuming the buds are of lesser quality?

From 2 grams I yield about 0.5 after purging (0.6 is weight before); How is that strange? It's a good yield from some dank buds. my product is usually mustardlike-yellow/orangish-brown (since I tend to use only 2 strains).

PS-I was really into buddering my waxes a month ago but stopped recently; these pics are old..And as for the buds I use: I get my herb from a homie who supplies some local socal clubs (his dankier herb tested in at 24%+ a few harvests back; always improving )
