Just my assumption. From what I've read on afgooey, it's pretty sweet smelling with heavy stone...which is a really good description of the one I grew.

I'm thinking more along the lines of turned male by application of CS or similar procedure. Then the pollen collected is used on the female. I'm fairly certain the pollen is "female pollen", and how most fem beans are produced. That thing was a monster bro. I didn't make it out fishing at all this summer. Dude, forgot to get back on yesterday! Good good info on the Noc...I noticed a few leaves had started to turn but my temps are just now allowing for purps. Idk if I have room for another long flower. Does yours nanner or drop seeds? I don't really want to just ditch it without running it again but it got so unruly after flip. What kind of characteristics do you notice off yours? I have the sweet smell. Couple stray seeds and definitely dropped nanners from week 7 or so on. Our buds look very similar though. Hope the event was dope man! I liked that music, BUT....they look a lot like my neighbors, and I had to quit going to their parties cause old (And I mean literally OLD) mmR GJs would get into fights over shit like calling my president (Obama) very bad names. It turned into a mutual decision that they didn't want me coming around getting bloody with some punk almost half my age. Last fight was Feb 2013 with a 27 year old marine. I asked him politely not to speak ill of his commander and chief, he called me a liberal pussy, and then it was assholes and elbows for 20 minutes. Both of us got pretty scraped and bloody. It was kinda fun, but I'm too old to be doin that shit! I'm supposed to be respectable in my elder years- I hate rude behavior though. Other than that it was a cool time. Hey man, I'm trying to get more info from SG on the Noc phenos but I'm really thinking that might be the main different between yours and the one I had. Mine definitely seem more indica like. Never got really tall but then again few of my plants do since I can't afford much head space. I had a few swollen calyxes but everytime I pinched them off, they were empty. I let mine go 60+ days with no nanners. She did drop leaves at different times but I've been told that some plants "harden off" like that so I never worried about. I'll have to do pheno hunt with my remaining seeds. I really want to get to another girl like that one.

Hey I got another Latifah bean to sprout so that makes two. I'm just waiting for the second one to poke it's head up. Here's the first one....already running. The other beans still won't pop but I'm going to try a light rubbing to get the putter layer of the shell thinner then I'll soak em again for a short time and see if they come around. As for the fighting...well man....a young Marine and a stubborn mule can have so much in common that it's hard to tell the difference between the two, lol. I deal with young ones every day here and they make my head hurt. We live and learn though....hopefully.
Trying to hold out as long as possible D. I go back and trim out a little rot every day. Some could be harvested now, but I'd like to let em go another week or 10 days. The next few days are forecast to be lower humidity and clear. I'll probably do a major harvest next Sunday or Monday. I have some help lined up for the trimming. The bug damage is on the leaves. Big green grasshopper type bugs love these girls. I pick em off when I can catch em. I did top em a little bit this year, some more than others. I waited til the 7th or 8th set of leaves to start. I hear you about the old mules (I'm trying to be more chill every day!). The young guy told me before we commenced, "you don't want to me mess with me old man". He'll remember me. Ha! His friends still tease him about it. As old as I am, I really didn't have much to lose. I have had a hard time in my neighborhood (farm country) because of my politics. Kindness, GJs PS. The two beans that I've sprouted successfully were soaked and then set in folded coffee filters sealed in zip lock bags with air blown into the bag to "poof" it up. I got the idea from some reading I was doing on germing tomato seeds. Got 100% success on the maters so I did the Tifah beans along with some bag seeds. One of the bag seeds was so enthusiastic that I came completely out of the shell in the filter! The Tifahs are taking a bit longer. The two I get will up my odds for a chick.

Remember the fight I mentioned that happened when i went back to Cleveland back in July time frame? My uncle handed a beat down to the husband of one of my aunts. Well the guy decided a few weeks ago to press charges on my uncle for whoopin his ass. Now my uncle is going to trial with a felony 2 charge. Felony 2 for punching a guy in the face. Looking at 2-5 if found guilty. So ridiculous.
