Most overrated and underrated strains

How is kush underrated? There are literally songs dedicated to just kush

 

Under-rated: Swazi gold.
Over-rated: KUSH. And almost all high CBD Count strains

If you like being couch locked and passing out, Kush is the strain for you. Trust me, I learned from that quo of Purple Kush; Smokey's "You got knocked the FUCK OUT!!!" pretty much sums up Kush.

 

Underrated: I think all of the great psychedelic highs from sativa imports of the late 70s/early 80s are not necessarily "underrated" by those that knew them, but those type of highs are certainly underrated in a neglectful way by breeders and seed sellers. I miss the days of Aculpulco Gold one month, Columbian the next, good Mexican or Panama Red the next, Hawaiian sativa's that made your mouth drool endlessly - they were all psychedelic experiences that made my friends and I want to enjoy all kinds of active things and push ourselves to the limits. They weren't sugar coated bud porn nugs, but they performed ...

Overrated: I think almost all weed these days is overrated. It's all geared for "bud porn", and despite looking nice, they are pretty much all stoning sleeping pills - which kind of kills the reason for enjoyment, unless you really do need to go to sleep, or have time to waste. I guess it's good for video games, but it's generally not the kind of stuff that makes you want to climb a mountain or give you freaky trippy experiences.

That's my general impression over 35 years of smoking. Kids today don't know what they are missing. I wish breeders would focus more on enhancing sativa IBL's within their own gene pools, instead of hybridizing them all with indicas across the board. Breeders really need to grow 1000's of plants to find the 1 good freak. This stuff of picking the best out of 30 or 60 plants is nonsense. Genetics can't advance very well like that.

 

Overrated= sour d, mango, kush any purple I say these because while I get all of these and they're real people around advertise it as these and its completely just str8 tree
Underrated this watermelon shit I got 20 a g. 1 2 bong rips I was so fucked and this was after a dank dry spell where every other pick up was shwag this other shit I picked up from the same Guy same price but it looked like shwag but I'm like fuck it I'm paid ill do it smoked with my similar business associate from the other side of towb we had already smoked each b4 met tht night we just went str8 at it we got through like 30 hits in less than 2 minutes with 2 heads about 3/4 of the way through we stop and just go WTF JAMAICAN FUCKED

I think kush is super overrated around me everyones like oh this is Whatever Kush so its awesome n im pretty sure most of it is bullshit anyways people around here are stupid. My dealer sells me headies uk just random good weed he doesnt try to bullshit if he dont know. Ive only ever got 2 REAL strains OG kush and Purp. My second dealer or back up dealer whatever always says shit like oh this is cherry kush or Jack Herer or Lemon kush just bullshit stuff. Its funny to cuz he thinks its legit cuz his dealer lied. But anyways i think most good weed is underrated by me if its not kush everyone just says its shitty. its hilarious.

 

It's true, Kush is overrated unless you like the body high... I think sour d and train wreck are too. I think NL is underrated, a good outdoor batch will have you out of this world lol

most over rated would have to be any kind of purp, most purp is that color because it's been grown in bad conditions and would probably be better if it ended up green but stoners are all like OMG PURPLE BUDDS :rolls eyes:

Overatted : blue magoo good bud just shapeless for such a hype underatted : BLACK BETTY this strain isnt very popular among the growers who do online seedbanks a bunch but the local pac west black betty is the most pretty purple or kine green sensimillia ive ever blazed by far everybody loves ol betty boop ehere im from

 

Overrated: I'd say like "diesel" strains, everyone slaps that name on some fire or weak diesel buds...

Underrated: any OG strain. You can tell by the scent, and idiots dunno wtf it is, just 'dank'

 

Over-Rated: sour diesel

Under-rated: Northern Lights

Also blueberry Kush is the most hyped strain in my area; its good, but it ain't that good

 

Overrated: super lemon haze and white widow, indicas in general (growers just like em for high yield)

underrated: pineapple express (seems to me that mostly first time growers grow it so it's usually really low quality), sativas in general (growers hate em because lower yield) but to me smoking indicas and passing out on the couch is not my thing.

I feel ya on the purple weed. Weed is only purple due to genetics and growing temperature I believe.
