Indeed you can! I used these 2 years ago and they were great. Now I vist my plants once a week so they dont really have too much use for me but if you dont want to have to vist your crop for weeks on end, or you live in a really hot place these things are the ticket!
Yes you can use to much of them but you can use them in desert climate and they work great. I haven't used them but I know people that have.
Yes -- You can use to much of these and you get the same results as if you over watered your plants. (root rot and slow growth) I have used them successfully in the past but it took some time to learn not to use to much. Kisses - Hott
So you might be wondering why I have quoted my own post..... I have 3 plants that were not doing as well as all the others in my crop and I had no idea why. (all my plants are in the same soil, get the same water/fert schedule and get the same sun light) but 3 were half the size as the others. This question that tat2edangel asked got me wondering so I went and dug up one of the 3 that was doing poorly and sure enough the root system was very poor due to root rot. The reason for this root rot was I used to much water polymers when I dug these holes this spring. So I spent today digging up these 3 plants and refilling the holes with new soil and removed most of the water polymers. They will never catch up with the other plants but I hope they will do better for the rest of the grow cycle. Kisses - Hott
