  1. Still healthy after my vacation, that was what I was worried about, I have been on a vacation for 12 days and was a little worried that it might effect how I get to care for my babies, well long story short they r still kickin and finer than ever. I have taken a few pics to show you the results so far, Please keep in mind 1st grow. :D JOE>

P.S. any comments or ideas for a better grow feel free to add.

  3. damn i can't believe no one complimented you man.

for your first plants or even your 100th plants those are great looking.

    those leaves are HUGE.

is it bagseed or did you buy them?

either way your in for a treat come harvest.

gl with the rest of the grow.

  4. damn those are so nice. since the leaves are reall fat does that mean that its an indica?

  5. I would say it was Indica but I have no clue b/c it is bagseed, but keep in mind it is from really good bud that I got, all of the seeds r from different sacks, I mean the bud they cam in was beasters that just happen to have a seed or 2 in the bag. I hope they keep strong and I can post some pics of some dankass nugs for you guys to see. I will keep you all posted, The only thing is I still cannot really tell if they r male or fem???? anyone help with this I have pics??? JOE>

  6. take some close up pics of the nodes and post them.

i might be able to tell then.

  7. Read my thread on sexing - click on the link in my sig

  9. weird, you should see pistils by now from the size of your plants, how long you been growing for and where? anyways, thos plants could turn male still, but my guess is there female, because males usually occur earlier in veg.....hopefully those pics are of the top most nodes, they have better chance of revealing sex. this is random but i suggest fertilizing crops with general hydroponics, using the hydrobloom can help determine sex earlier.

  10. Wow still no sign of sex..... Fim the hell out of it, it will show you sex soon enough.

  11. O.K. so I know the pics were taken of the nodes right below the top of the plant, as for the fim thing what is that and how do I do it? If it will help me find out the sex w/o hurting them I will try it, I just do not want to mess with what nature is doing really good at. Know what I mean? Thanks for all the help guys. JOE>

  12. fim is cutting the top part of the plant to produce 2 shoots instead of one, like a Y. this is something you probly are against, hurting the plants and going against natures way. personally, i think your plants will show sex very soon, and like i said, they're probly female.

  13. ^^^Right on Jonster, I really do not want to do that(fim) now, they r big and I don't want to turn them hermie or some shit, I will just keep my eye on them and see wht we have, I'll keep ya's posted though. :D JOE>

  14. i wouldnt cause any stress to the plant untill you know they are female. this way you have less chance of it turning out male

  15. +reps to you for those pictures and all your hard work. Can tell you spend a lot of time and care to get plants like that. I know because I got plants lke that too and I know what I do for mine. How many do you have? Glad to see that they made it through the time you were away. 12 days is a long time to of left them. What did you do for watering? Did you dig a trench around them before leaving to get the plants deep roots wet so they would make it? I am really interested in knowing how you prepared your plants for you being gone. It wasn't a well I hope they will be okay deal was it?

  16. To tell you the truth it was alot easier than I expected, I had to keep them watered b/c we have not gotten much rain this year so they were well hydrated to begin with. I also moved them into less direct lighting areas during the tyme I was gone as to not over expose, and dry them out, I mean they still got plenty of sun but they were a little more shaded while I was gone. I have moved them back into the right spot for lighting now, but as the pics show they were very healthy after the 12 days so I guess it all worked. i will be glad to help anyone who wants the help of a rookie grower, but there r alot more people on here who know their shit more than I do, I mean where do you think I got the info I needed to get them where they r. In total I have 7 plants all the same size respectively, and they r good and strong for the moment, i started by germing 16 seeds, then only had 8 to survive, I had one on my porch for a while,, but it got someattention form others so I got rid of it, now I have 7 and they r hidden . No worries about intruders, check this out. I planted them in a ZOO, you heard me right in the dam ZOO, noone goes into the lions cage but the Zoo workers so they r all good there b/c my friends r the ones who take care of the lions, HAHHAHAHAHAHA! bud grown in the ZOO< now that would be cool, I was just kidding though :D JOE>

  17. Great first grow ++

my only recommendation is to plant them in the ground.....also the plants look alittle wilted .....maybe lack of water

    Puff and then Pass:smoking:

  18. Thanks, they wilted just a bit from me being gone they r looking better now, I have thought about putting them into the ground but did not want to upset the plant what do you all think should I replant into the ground or should I just roll with what I have? Any advice will be considered. JOE>

P.S. I plan on putting them into the ground when I figure out which ones r females, just don't want to plant a male, just to pull it up when I find out it is a male.

  19. thats gonna be some mighty fine bud when its harvested, great job joe!
