Howdy everyone!
So this is my first grow and i've decided on using CFL's.

I've also decided to use a bagseed, nothing overly special but it came from some nice bud so I thought this was the perfect opportunity.
My main goal for this grow is to expand my knowledge of growing and to get some hands on experience using lighting.

I don't expect a huge yield or anything like that, as stated before, it is for my own knowledge and hopefully gain some info and some lovely green :)

The seed was planted on 4th March and has now shown signs of germination (9th March) ;D

Another view where you can see the 2x 20w CFL's.

Might want to get the light even lower. Tho what you should have done is fill the soil higher. Those cfl's need to be as close as you can get em without touchin the plant man.

UPDATE:

Another seed that I had germing was ready for transplant today so it's now nicely tucked away inside another pot the same as the one in the growing space.
Have also placed a bag on top for humidity.

Going to start her on the same light as the other plant, which is 20/4.
Starting her cycle along with the other.
:)

Will try and get some snaps when I get a chance to charge my camera :P
Peace guys and girls :)

Thanks mate, i'll go have a look at your grow now!

Also, not too much to report in the way of the plants.
Unfortunately, last night while repositioning the lights, one of the CFL's tipped and landed on the plant that had sprouted

The only damage it seemed to do was knock off the seed casing, but, will she be okay after this?
I'm really hoping it won't affect her too much.

Cheers for reading!

she wont be hurting mate taking the seed casing off her leaves will have helped her although a less rough way of doing it would have been better :P

she will bounce back but dont expect much of her for the next few days she will be recovering but she will make it back stronger then ever, wish i was the first comment lol glad you got your grow journal coming along nice and like thingy above me said try to keep them as close as possible and try to get them atleast 1 to 2 cm away from the plant and at the maximum distance make sure its 4cm away from it. :D glad you got it going on.

UPDATE:

So, after much consideration, I have decided to pull the plug on this CFL grow.
It sucks to do so but I think that if i'm going to do an inside CFL grow, I need to sort out a slightly larger grow space, better ventilation and some more lighting.

I have moved the plants outside and they're all soaking up some sun.

On a positive note, I have found my camera charger and will be uploading some photos shortly of what has come of this grow so far.
:)
I will also be keeping the plants outside and still fathering them until I get my growroom sorted 100%/

Peace out guys and gals, thanks for reading :)
